We bought this for our 7 year old son. He loves it! He was able to complete this build with almost no help! It has realistic features including a front scoop, rear digger and outriggers. These pads stay in place, are comfortable and long enough. They stick well even if the pad needs to be adjusted. I've never had any problems with these pads and appreciate Walmart offers same day delivery if necessary.

The Lego Technic back-hoe is a great gift for children, adults or yourself for $10 It is so very fun to build and has lots of moving parts. One of my favorite Technic Lego builds!

My 3 y/o son loved building this with his grandfather in construction. It was a good learning set, while also being a super fun vehicle. It's intriguing to see all these small pieces come together to build something. My son enjoys using it inside his sand box and the backhoe has held up well for the most part. Some pieces do come off if there's pressure a certain way, but very easy to put the pieces back on. This pack includes outriggers that lower for stability, which make it more realistic. The knob mechanism to raise and lower the scoop keeps his attention for quote some time!

Purchased for my grandson. He was so excited to get this! Not sure about the assembly yet. He is very good at putting them together. That's why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

This was a fun build. He actually built it to go on his birthday cake along with the little skidsteer. However the first day of playing with it the bucket broke off the front. We're going to return it and try another one. Hoping it was just a fluke! This is the first time we've had a lego set break like that.
