Fantastic Build

CarFan47 October 14, 2025

Truely loved building this. The colours and engineering are awesome. The designers of this are genius the complexity is so high. It goes together so well the precision is fantastic. This took me some time to complete but it was fun all the way through. Lego need to add more cars to this range and at this scale….. what would be awesome is a choice of clear bodywork so you can see the gears and engine…. If you can pick up this set don't hesitate.

In the manuals the blue could be lighter. The distinction between the black and dark blue or blue on blue makes it hard to distinguish between the various pieces.. Might just be my old eyes. The manual, as typical with the Technic builds, does not show all the steps as easy to follow. Those were the negatives if you want to call them that. This set is much more organized than my Lamborghini set and so far I haven't had any missing pieces. I'm about 2/3 done with assembly. As reference, this is my 3rd Technic build. I would recommend this set to experienced builders.

Engineering at its finest.

AshGilber July 29, 2018

This is an absolute masterpiece. As an engineer I can't help but appreciate how well this model is constructed. All of the components are sturdy and the mechanics work in perfect sync with each other. It amazes me how they can produce an 8 speed gearbox with a 16 piston engine entirely out of plastic! I would definitely recommend this product, it's well worth the money. It looks fantastic & the build keeps you interested throughout.

SPEED KEY DESIGNED TO FIT IN BOOT !!!

Robrix June 16, 2018

With all the excellent reviews already available, I thought I would share this instead. -pivot the shaft away from the key just a bit, insert key in a downward angle, and wha la! Perfect key storage. I've never seen this mentioned on the official site, yet it fits seamlessly as if by design. (See images)

Similar to the previous Porsche 911, it is a wonderful lego model. Again, it still gives us some space to DIY remote control engine and lighting systems. It is a really well design lego product. I have a great experience figuring out how to set up the power function system. U shoulf try to make your Bugatti run too! I really like to share with you guys how i put two XL motor and one servo motor into this Bugatti model.

Great set

Beirao1966 June 16, 2018

A great set. Very addicting build. Great similarity with the real Bugatti Chiron. To join to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The set is overpriced in my opinion. Congratulations Lego Technic! I will be waiting for new upcoming car. Maybe a Ferrari LaFerrari or a Lamborghini Veneno?

The Bugatti of Lego sets.

Digic June 20, 2018

The attention to detail on this set is incredible! From the general body design to the complexities involved in the marriage process. There were challenging times while building the engine, but seeing it come together was very worthwhile and satisfying. I have many Lego sets ranging from the Millenium Falcon to other UCM's, and this is by far at the top of my list for most rewarding builds.

First LEGO Technic Build Experience

Vikash October 6, 2018

This was my first LEGO technic build and I loved it! Haven't made many LEGO sets before, but I throughly enjoyed making the Bugatti Chiron! I could only spent 1.5hrs per night; I would have preferred to spend more to reduce the overall time to build. Some basic mistakes set me back a bit time, but good learning and experience. Once the front and back chassis's are built and joint, the rest comes along nicely. 5 boxes altogether with multiple packets of LEGO in each bag. Sorting the pieces upfront helped along with place items in small bowls for easier access (especially stopping and starting the build process). I had a missing part, which is annoying. Looking to secure that missing part now (piece from the bag for the boot). Looking for a cover now to avoid getting duct! Throughly recommend this set and I am looking forward to making another few (albeit the lapse time will be long).

Simply Epic

Sultadashin June 4, 2018

This is my second time building this type of supercar after Porsche 911 GT3 RS and I would say it was a bit challenging to build but learn a lot. I like how this AWD physics work and stunning set. The only hiccups I found so far is the front suspension part of this set is saggy while I'm pressing it. First I thought it could be my building error until I found from other reviews that they have the same issue as mine. I would recommend to someone who's car enthusiast looking for better execution and interested in how this function works.

Pretty Sweet Build

theYerg June 11, 2018

A little bit more detailed than the GT3 build was aesthetically, but I didn't feel like the gearbox was as tedious or painstaking. Love the color combo of the two builds together. The wing key feels a little unnecessary to me, but still cool. Much like with the GT3, I loved the presentation as far as packaging. Nice tough with putting the boxes in upside down and having a different image of the Chiron. It would be cool if the “authentic serial numbers” meant something and you could tell if you had an older produced set. Looking forward to the next super car technic build!
