Fantastic Build

CarFan47 October 14, 2025

Truely loved building this. The colours and engineering are awesome. The designers of this are genius the complexity is so high. It goes together so well the precision is fantastic. This took me some time to complete but it was fun all the way through. Lego need to add more cars to this range and at this scale….. what would be awesome is a choice of clear bodywork so you can see the gears and engine…. If you can pick up this set don't hesitate.

My Favourite Build

Valerian70 November 28, 2020

First things first, we need to talk about the packaging. I was completely blown away when I opened this box up as it is all sectioned up in to individual boxes which are then printed to make up a view of the actual vehicle this set is based on. Even better, you can change the boxes up to make up a rear view. The inside of the box lid is also printed with concept drawings of various Bugatti vehicles. Simply gorgeous packaging that I will be keeping intact and not folding down for flat storage. As anticipated the build itself is complex and you really need to concentrate. So much so I spent 4 Days constructing this vehicle and really immersing myself in the whole build experience. The upshot of this was that I had no functionality issues when it was built and the drive train seems to work well with the gearing. There are some tricky sections where you have to work from underneath - so much so my husband asked if I wanted him to build me an inspection pit. I cannot say enough good about this set. I was so disappointed to finally finish the build and I would happily start it all over again right now with the hugest grin on my face. Definitely one for the Lego Addict though as it is not going to be quick to construct no matter how experienced you are and it WILL challenge you. I was so impressed with how it all went together I actually took progress pictures of how each box broke down in to construction. Number Of Pieces: 3599 Approximate Price Per Piece: £0.09 Build Time: 15 Hours

WOW

Bassam May 30, 2019

This has been on my radar for a while to get. After receiving it as a gift, I was ecstatic and couldn't wait to dig in. The whole building experience from start to finish was amazing and seeing the end result is epic! I absolutely love it. It's certainly worth getting and building, but I think it's a bit pricey for what it's worth. Looking forward to having it on display and showing family and friends, and talking to them about the build experience.

What a car

Loved the build, whole process and breakdown really good. Only drawback is would be good to be able to examine and review engine + gearbox to show others the engineering side to the car.

I understand why these kits are so expensive

PiperD May 11, 2022

The Chiron was intended for my 10yo, who had been talking about it for about 3 years. I understood that Lego would be retiring the set at the end of 2021, so I sought to buy this while I still could (missed out on the Porsche...) and give it to him later. But I let him start building it a couple of months ago to see how we would handle it. As the car came together it became clear why these kits are so expensive. It's not just about the piece count; there must have been some serious R&D involved as well. The marriage process was definitely a highlight of the build, and the fact that there are indentifiable structural and functional sections that mirror a real car - insomuch as you can with Technic - shows that this was a serious undertaking for Lego's designers. As somebody who works in software design it's easy for people to see the incremental cost and think that the price of the end product is not justified, but what they're missing out is the time it took for the creators to get to that point and the inherent value that the design process contributes to the final product. Anyhow - this was an enjoyable build for my son and the two months we spent working on this (one bag per weekend day) was a great father/son experience. Has me seriously considering the Sian :) But first I have the McLaren F1 car to build, that one's for me. Although I think I'll invite the 10yo to spectate :) I will say that we did modify the build just a tiny bit. My son wanted to be able to show off the engine bay a bit more so he opted to remove 2 pins at the rear of the engine cover, allowing the whole thing to pivot up. Made a world of difference and does not detract from the shape at all when closed.

The Ultimate LEGO set....THE CHIRON

BugattiFan8 April 10, 2020

The reason I love this set so much is because it is not only based on built like and looks like the best hyper car in the world but it makes you feel as if you have a real Bugatti. I've seen a lot of people rush this set but my advice is if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one of these you take your time and enjoy the experience they give you. What really wowed me about this set is all the extra special things that come with it like a podcast a unique number, a speed key and some luggage just like in the real Chiron. I've also built a technic Porsche but the Bugatti is another level, from its photography filled manuals to the cars smooth curves to the beautiful presentation of the boxing. Best LEGO TECHNIC ever.

Great build

Shana January 1, 2022

Really great to build and with a lot of detail. The packaging on this this is super from the box to the inside, keeps you in suspense as you go through each of the steps on how this is going to build. The one thing I think could be better on the build is the stickers that are used, this could surely be built into the actual pieces instead of having to stick stickers on the pieces. Fantastic build if you enjoy cars!!!

Great addition to my supercar collection

DirectorValiantAardvark February 2, 2025

Awesome to build, love how it's creation is completed in the same manner as the real thing and holds true to the Bugatti Credo. Although upset I couldn't register it and claim points as with my other sets, plus that I was no longer able to access any of the digital bonus items with my serial number

Lego Bugatti Chiron AMAZING

zaaqaqa January 7, 2021

List of functions - 8 speed gearbox with paddle shifters(it has 1 fault - in gear 2 it makes a grinding noise when you drive it) - DNR stick in the centre console - Working steering wheel - An open engine so you can watch it spin - An opening bonnet (it shifts a bit to the left and right though) - Double wishbone suspension on all 4 wheels (it sags down a lot on the front and on the back it is fine though) - There is beautiful box art as soon as you open it and the instruction manual has amazingly highly detailed pictures comparing the Lego Bugatti to the real one and of the build processes - My family purchased this for me as a combined Christmas and it was defiantly worth it! Its a great product

Disappointing

Pipski July 7, 2020

Having built the Porsche and loved it I was really looking forward to this. Sadly it turned out to be a bit if a let down. Whilst the completed model looks pretty good, especially with the led kit installed, it is somehow unsatisfying. The gearbox on all of these models seems largely pointless, they don't have any playability and for the most part don't even work properly. The W16 engine is pretty cool though. The rear end of the car looks and feels great. Alas the same can't be said of the front imo. I understand it's complicated but it just doesn't hold up, the whole front end feels very fragile and wobbly. The Porsche feels solid but the Bugatti doesn't. It feels like you need to be careful picking it up and is probably only any good as a shelf queen. (Probably as intended tbf) Overall it feels underdeveloped, I expected better at the not inconsiderable price! So Lego, ditch the over complicated, ineffective gearboxes and concentrate on a solid and usable aesthetic. Not so sure about the Lambo now?
