This is one of the coolest LEGO sets I've ever built! These technic sets are incredible. This one is tough for small hands to put together. I had to lend my kids some strength. I love how solid this feels and that the propeller actually works! I want to try every set in this series! Well done.
I appreciated the flow of the build and how some of the pieces needed to be primed for the next steps. thought it to be clever how it all came together and the details of the engine made it all the more fun. Another option for the sticker package would be nice though - rather than just a zebra stripes but still a great build
It arrived super fast! For my son, who likes to challenge himself, I found it much better than regular Lego, and now we'll only buy Lego Technic for him. It was totally worth it!
my son in law is almost done with training for flying cessna's. he loved this gift and built it yesterday! it's really cool looking! A for me and for this item!
This was a really great Technic build. I really love that it was a plane as a nice alternative to the usual technic cars. The build was fairly quick but still had a lot of really nice action features ok the plane . Some of them worked together and some separately. This was a huge hit and will provide hours of enjoyment way past the initial build
This was a fun build. As a parent who grew up on more traditional Lego block builds it's a little weird adjusting to these more so one time build type sets. That being said it's much sturdier than I expected once built so it seems it will hold up well in play too. Being able to push activate the propeller and watch the gears move sets this one apart from many other sets or similar priced toys. A few pieces were occasionally difficult to put together just so and a few pages of instructions could have more clear however a little challenge for this seems just fine to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little Lego set was brilliant to keep my 8year old happy for a few hours it was very strongly made the durability and versatility were so good for a little toy. Very safe to use to put together no falling off bits. Easy to travel around with so very very portable loved it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LEGO Bush Plane set is a fun and engaging build, perfect for both beginners and experienced builders. The design is detailed, with vibrant colors and functional features like a spinning propeller and movable landing gear. The plane's rugged look, complete with wing floats, captures the essence of a true bush plane. It's a satisfying project that results in an impressive display piece, making it a great addition to any LEGO collection. Highly recommended for aviation fans and LEGO enthusiasts alike!
This is a really good set for all ages 8+. The plane is very swooshable and has a push-to-rotate mechanism to spin the propeller and engine but not much is made of that on the box. Where the picture shows a white arrow under the wing, that is hidden by the fact that the plane is white. The set contains quite a few gears, which is an excellent introduction to Technic as a theme with mechanisms, though that may be a surprise after just the box pictures. The range of pieces is good for rebuilding into other things so more ideas would be appreciated; small sets should have second-model instructions to encourage rebuilding, otherwise too many people might stop with just the one model and miss out on the My Own Creation aspect of LEGO building; I certainly find that when I talk to people at LEGO shows; rebuilding is new to many of them but reuse of ideas is vital education. Given the idea to rebuild, I might have used wheel hubs with a cross-hole so that they could be the source of rotation for the gears in another model; a tractor with harrow would be possible; that was my favourite with Tractor 851 when I was 8! So great play value and keep it up! If anyone struggles with applying the stickers, try using the handle of a brick separator from another set.
My son popped this together in a few hours. Really cool how it works. Has some neat features that make it very realistic. Great for kids' imagination!
