This is purely amazing !!! My friend bought it for me and this is just classic. Honestly speaking i tired other Lego technic but so far the second best after Bugatti Chiron. While I was making it I thought waste of time and not so cool. But while making the engine and the body part, it blew my mind. It is bigger and bold than I expected. It will be in my permanent collection. Just one feedback to LEGO. The parking stand is super cool however the red brick to the hole could have been long enough to stick it tighter. Check out my photos
It was fun to build this set. However, some exterior details could be a little bit more precise. On the other hand, it is a Lego technic, not creator. The most advanced and fun part was to make DIY illumination for this bike. It looks cool now on my shelf.
Building this bike from its frame, engine, 2 gear transmission, body, and wheels was just an amazing experience! I love the way it looks and it's definitely a prominent model. You won't regret building this. Yes it's a little sensitive standing up but it holds its own fine and let's just remember it's a bike after all! Very pleased with how this looks.
Relatively easy build, but of course a bit flimsy on the forks and single sided swingarm, there is a bit of flex when pressing down. Do not sit on it. :) Gearbox is a cool mechanism and watching everything from the pistons to wheel moving is a great feature. Looks great and has the signature headlight look. Is small enough for the side table. It is very easy to mix up the very slightly differently coloured greys so go off the size chart. Rookie mistake.
Honestly, for what you're paying for this set it will astound you! It took me 3-4 hours to build, but that's with a movie on and a tea break :) The build quality is fantastic as per usual for LEGO products. No complaints, awesome mechanical set!
Really enjoyed building this Ducati. The gear box has excellent detail and the model has some challenging aspects too. Excellent value for money and the finished article looks fantastic too. Well done Lego, more motorbikes please! All in all a really fun and rewarding build. (One tiny thing I believe it could do with a front mud guard)
The Ducati Panigale V4 R Lego set is fun and challenging. Building this was an enjoyable experience. It took me around 6 hours to complete it. (rebuild off gear box added to time). The printed instructions and instructions on the LEGO builder app are only in 2d and in my experience made building the gearbox more difficult than needs be. If the Lego builder app had 3d instructions the build would have been a lot easier and more enjoyable. The finished product is very pleasing on the eye and worthy of displaying. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging Lego set.
I was very impressed with this lego set, I have not had a set for over 10 years now and it was a great way back in. The model took me about 4 hours to build and I was taking it relaxed and just enjoying the process! As a big motorbike fan I appreciate the detail in the v4 r which is a beautiful bike, I love how the 4 cylinder engine works and the idea of the clutch is fun! It's 100% brought me back into the lego universe and I'm ready for my next set!
This was my second purchase (first Technic set) and it is a very good kit which produces an excellent finished model. It was enjoyable to build, which I did over 3 evenings, and is a decent size when finished. The Ducati looks great on display and I would recommend this to everyone.
As a motorcycle lover, I snapped this one up the second I saw it was available and while I'm overall very happy with the model, I experienced a few caveats that those who are picky may have issues with: 1. Don't expect it to look as hot as the box and manual images show - the red plastic of the model is not as lush and dark as the box photos, it's less saturated and looks cheaper. The box art's "rosso" is more blood-like, whereas the model looks faded by comparison. 2. Some of the red plastic pieces don't match in color. 3. Were there supposed to be tail lights? It came with parts for them but it's not indicated in the manual or the photos. 4. There are two magically-disappearing pieces between Steps 200 and 201 (in my manual, at least). If you don't remove them, you can't add the front fairing. 5. The stand is very robust-looking, but if you so much as breathe on the motorcycle when it's on it, the bike falls over. 6. I wish the light grey plastic bits in the frame were darker-colored, again, it doesn't look nearly as rich and saturated as the product shots (it looks cheaper IRL than in the photos) That being said, I learned a few new build techniques, the overall packaging of the components is excellent (giving it a great sense of scale), and the price is relatively good value for the money. If I could wish for anything, it would jut be for some more richly-colored parts to match the way it looks on the photo.
