It is just really good for a gift or for yourself to display or play with. Not the easiest of builds but really fun to build

I have build multiple 1/8 model cars and this is my 3rd F1 car. The attention to replicating price detail is exquisite. I enjoyed this built thoroughly and what is interesting is the dimensions are slightly different to Lego f1 cars released last year. When you put this car next to the Lego McLaren 42141 you can see how much the designs have advanced. Very nice Lego! I found the side pods a little tricky, but patience persists….. and the removable engine cover makes me so happy. A lot of people do not enjoy stickers, I am agnostic on this point but if I could offer one piece of advice it would be to build the front wing entirely and then apply the stickers and the same with the engine cover. Loved this. Heading for a Mercedes next!

I love Lego and I'm happy that my kid is super into it with me. We build multiple sets and this one is the hardest so far. He watches formula 1 with me and his favorite driver is Lando. Perfect incentive to challenge his skills. Oh, he is only 4 and with minimum help he build it.

In the process of building the new MaClaren F1 car. I have been using the Lego Build app. and find it helps greatly by being able to turn diagrams around for various views. Really recommend that application.

I love the evolution of the product and that it keeps up with the actual cars. Well done every time.

This F1 car is very realistic and a pleasure to build - I'm fairly slow & methodical and it took me a full day to construct, but building it is very fun. There are several "ah-ha!" moments where things connect that you didn't expect, like when the steering mechanism finally comes together. The car is large (table is 2.5 ft across, for scale) and comes together beautifully. The working suspension and pistons that move in the engine when you roll the car are cherries on top. Thanks Lego for this hobby - it takes my mind off of work and helps my brain focus.

Would highly recommend this set to anyone who is a McLaren fan or even just a car fan

The set is beautiful, quite a challenging build, which made it all the more satisfying to complete. However, there were no stickers included in my set!

Halfway through this build the colourful and complicated design is shining through and the machine is taking shape. Unfortunately one or two small peices are missing from the first few bags and later bags must be explored for replacements to allow the build to continue

Wanted the MCL39 in my collection so was able to overlook the two glaring faults with this set. The ride height is much too high for a ground effect F1 car and the narrow rear tires is almost inexcusable at this point. The designer could definitely have done better on those fronts. But overall, great build experience as usual and nice display for my living room.
