LEGO Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS 42056

I would rather describe it as an artwork. Really impressive by the curve outside and the gears and engine inside. But something need to be mentioned is that the PDK gearbox sequence is wrong. Also, the double engagement of PDK occurs frequently which can totally stop the gears from functioning. It's a disappointing flaw. If you want to own this model and have a better functional chasis, you may need to search for some fan-made improvement (e.g., on Eurobricks forum). Thankfully we have talented designer in LEGO group AND talented fans all over the world. Together we may see more extrodinary models.

My son is 13. This set released when he was 4. This is a holy grail for him. Please bring this back into stock. The smaller version out now just can't compare to the original.

Bought this as a challenge having never built a project with this many bits in already have the mini the Ferrari f40 wv camper and beetle also the millennium falcon which I found all to easy but enjoyable. So now have this to my collection. Would be better with power function and remote as extra challenge .thought this could be a bit more challenging but really enjoyed it and the whole book as a good read

Brilliant set best one build by far and I have over 30 sets of technic.Everything about the porche is bang on from the box to the stickers.I wasn’t going to buy this set because of the cost but it just kept saying buy me every time I went on the website So glad I did builtit over 7 nights and I enjoyed every bit of time spent on it If you like technic it’s a must to have as part of your collection

This was one of the most satisfying builds I have had in a long time. Lego and the Technic team, you nailed it with this kit. From the moment the box arrived, I felt like this was something special. You did not disappoint. Yes it is on the upper end. But the satisfaction of seeing the jewel transmission come together, complete with double clutch, just superb. It was the experience. Something to savor. Seeing it all come together. It took me back in spots, when I couldn't imagine where the designer was going, and then realizing just how exquisitely it was all coming together. I had this pang when I realized all the wonderful mechanics were going to be occluded by the body panels, but then the body itself was so faithfully rendered. The attention to detail - bright light elements beneath the headlight lense, the two-part K-Lunk sound of the trunk lid closing - are you kidding!! I know, simple things, but just a joy. I would welcome a B-kit. Have a contest, I have some ideas. There were hints that this was the first in a new series. I can't wait for the next one. Just brilliant.

This is the first serious Lego set I have purchased. (I have done ~100 piece sets but nothing this big). I purchased this to keep myself busy but since I got it, I spent nearly 8hrs a day and finished it in 10 days. Can't wait to get the Bugatti Chiron set next April :)

As someone who likes Lego, cars and gears I loved every minuet of building and playing with this model. From the minuet you open the box there is a feeling that this kit is really something else, the build was extremely well thought out and each box providing a logical break once competed. Overall I would recommend this to Car lovers with a bit of experience with Technic kits, it's a lot of fun to build and an amazing feeling when finished, my only wish is that it was easier to incorporate the Power Functions system into the car.

A fun build with a great amount of detail devoted to the design of the guts (drive train ,steering, gears,frame). It's too bad not as much attention was giving to the (body) outer shell. It should have had windows and a more complete body coverage. A more realistic roof.

If I could give zero stars I would! The item in the listing was LEGO. Everything in the description on the WALMART website I ordered through was legit LEGO. What I received was AN IMPOSTER ITEM! A very much fake, knock off, not LEGO set! Return is pending since I paid the fill $365 LEGO price. Hopefully Walmart rectifies the situation. 100% fraud

Attempted to order two of these. Was fully expecting to get quality LEGO brand items as the listing describes. But instead send two knock off, used counterfeit versions. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!!!
