Porsche GT3RS

Rastus May 14, 2019

A fantastic model, looks great and attention to detail rivals the real car. The design and engineering mimics the real car as it goes down the production line and was a pleasure to build and now sits in the pride of place in my LEGO display. The unique VIN number just adds that final little touch.

Iconic Piece Of Engineering

jdubya October 27, 2019

Really enjoyed building this iconic & timeless Porsche - everything went well during the build and you never get fed up of the satisfaction each “click” of two parts coming together gives you. Love the detail that this kit goes into and the history of the 911 outlined in the build manual. My only small gripe is that for some reason I don't seem to be able to register my Porsche - help Lego please??

Fantastic Building Experience

BernieBuilds October 30, 2020

When I saw this online I was initially sceptical but when I saw it in stores and felt how heavy the box was, I knew I had to build it. The building process was not rushed and I took my time every once in a while to marvel at the engineering skill that went into the design of this kit. Pick This one up if you can. Now I have to find room for the Bugatti and Lamborghini!

Great Technic set

eMushu September 9, 2020

My last Lego model I played was on the years 1985-1987. Once I saw this model on youtube.com – I said to myself I MUST HAVE IT! I think that the BOX is very impressing. The book is thick, and the build instruction are understandable maybe one or two stages are not very clear. It's a great fun to build this model. I like the stages of construction. 1. Basic chassis stage – you can see all the car from the base line 2. The second part of the chassis that wears over the first 3. Covering the car with the orange plastic parts - the car gets the final shape. 4. additional small details to finish + wheels. Focus on details, makes this very fun to build. I took my time to build it, with my 6th year kid every day or too for 2H at a time. In this way I could prolong the build and quality time with my son. Once we finished, it was amazing. The gear is hard to switch, but overall, I think Lego did a good job. I'm writing this review after I build the Bugatti as well. And I must say that this is my favorite model. sure, the newest one has mor parts and details. but I feel that in this model there was a greater investment. I have many issues with the Bugatti model that maybe we will be review in its page. Great model. My next one will be the Land Rover , this is the Sports car for all times.

A great display piece

Fishijoe April 14, 2020

I bought this to reward myself for completing college and wanted to have something to display alongside my star destroyer and other star wars ships. The building experience was very rewarding and amazing. Especially building the mechanical parts.

Out of Retirement

Zagareth November 14, 2025

My son is 13. This set released when he was 4. This is a holy grail for him. Please bring this back into stock. The smaller version out now just can't compare to the original.

A challenging and rewarding build!

Nigel89 January 25, 2017

This was my first Lego Technic build in over 15 years, and I must admit it was a great build to get me back into the range. The presentation of the set is by far the most impressive ever seen by Lego. Opening the box instantly shows the effort put into the development of this set. It feels like a premium collectors piece worthy of the high price tag. The build itself is straightforward, and will give little problems if giving it 100% concentration. Unlike other technic sets that focus on mechanics first and presentation second, this set is truly about its looks. Whilst all the internal workings are hidden by panels and the steering has a lot of play in it, this set is a must have for any Porsche or Lego enthusiast. I hope Lego will invest in future 1:8 scale builds.

The 911 GT3 RS

Mattydelport August 1, 2017

The Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS is most definitely the most beautiful model I have built and owned. It is a challenging yet extremely enjoyable build. This model is made for display purposes, even though it has many working functions it is wise to leave the model locked away in a case for display only.

IMPOSTER ITEM!

Christa December 5, 2021

If I could give zero stars I would! The item in the listing was LEGO. Everything in the description on the WALMART website I ordered through was legit LEGO. What I received was AN IMPOSTER ITEM! A very much fake, knock off, not LEGO set! Return is pending since I paid the fill $365 LEGO price. Hopefully Walmart rectifies the situation. 100% fraud

COUNTERFIT ITEMS!

James January 31, 2022

Attempted to order two of these. Was fully expecting to get quality LEGO brand items as the listing describes. But instead send two knock off, used counterfeit versions. DO NOT ORDER!!!!!!!
