LEGO Technic tbd Technic 42160 42160

Arrived on time. Well packaged, no damage. Have not assembled it yet.

This set is something of a good news bad news set… The good news, it IS a great set, the suspension is beautifully fluid, possibly the most satisfying suspension I have ever built in Lego, the car looks fantastic too, lots of stickers but they really work well to bring the car to life. Now the bad news, its another app controlled set, the app is spectacularly bad, the set would be so much better if it was just equipped with hand of god steering and the CONTROL+ parts were removed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this set and it came out bigger than expected being my first larger technic set. The suspension is great with quite a lot of travel proving for a great off-road car. The only two downsides are the fact that it is so slow and i really hope Lego can fix that and second it is app controlled and all those people with no phones cant use it making it useless. Please bring back the battery boxes with the remotes as they were so great.

PROS The build was very enjoyable. There were a couple of steps that were hard follow in the instructions. Use the digital instructions so you can zoom in. Fun to chase my cats around with. CONS: Kind of expensive but does come with three motors. The Control+ app is clunky. Wish there were better controls.

Enjoyed building this set, seemed pretty easy (after building the Millenium Falcon) so don't be scared if you're of the younger age group. Looks good when built and easy to control from your phone. Only downside, the batteries don't last long what so ever, considering there's 6 of them in it, other than that, loved it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i bought it, i was excited and ready to build. The building experience is amazing. However the cars offroad ability and speed is very slow. It cant ride over GRASS easily. I wished for the battery life was better as I only got 1hr and 20 minutes of proper drive time. However the suspension makes up for everything. ITS AMAZING. Its bigger and looks a lot better than all RC cars on the market

It does not work as remote control car. The wheels are spinning fast in the air, but once I place this car on the floor, the wheels not spinning well so it won't drive. Lego asked a lot of questions when I asked for help, such as what brand and which version of the phone I am using, or the brand name of the batteries I use for this car, are they all new? and how many of the batteries (!) If it is working only with particular phone or particular brand batteries, it should be stated on the package. Huge disapointment

this was such a great build and the remote driving is AWESOME! i hope to get more like this!

My son was very happy to receive this and put it together. A little pricy but he enjoyed that it was remotely controlled.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 11 year older received this Lego to play from.home tester club and i am in exchange giving my honest review. This is not just any static lego that child builds upon and then play after. But with every step towards built next level excitement and energy kept popping up for my kid as he tried. My kid not only played with rally car and out his skills to test. This lego Audi RS Q e-tron represents many features like real life car which helps my kid navigate the harsh desert conditions of Dark Rally. It's such a fun buildable adventure with Engineering mind to put work to test. He built it all in stipulated time as instructions were so clearly laid out. Once done, was so over the moon for final product and after installing the control app on digital device, all he wanted was to try it out with and without obstacles. Precisely, I'd day it is a great adventure and fun learning toy gift for your kids who are young yet energetic, loves to play ye
