LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 79121 - Turtle Sub Undersea Chase

My grandson and my son-in-law had lots of fun working on this lego kit and playing with the structures they created. My grandson never seems to get tired of legos.

If you enjoy Legos, this is a great set. Love the working pieces and it's similarity to a turtle.

He needed help from his dad but he said it was awesome when they were finished!

My son has wanted this set for over a year. We told him we would never spend that much on a single set ($59.99 in the store), but that he could save up for it himself. And he did. He pinched his pennies, saved gift money, did extra chores. After about a year, he had enough to purchase it online since it was cheaper. He put it together immediately. Plays with it often and seems satisfied. I personally would never spend this much on a Lego set with such limited usage--I'd rather get a brick set. But he loves it. My only real complaint is that you don't get all the turtles with the set and even if you try to purchase additional sets, you end up with multiples of some turtles and still missing others.
