LEGO The Legendary Flower Fruit Mountain 80024 Building Set (1949 Pieces)

This is such a beautiful set. I'm an AFOL not into the Monkie Kid so I hesitated a lot on this but I am so glad I finally got a copy. It's clear from the start that the designer of this does love Monkie Kid though - the set is full of play features telling the story as you build. Plus the monkey minifigs are super cute - so any MK fan is going to love this. What makes it super amazing though is on top of all that this is a superb nature build of a mountain in the clouds with waterfalls cascading into jungle lined deep pools. Take away the MK figures and instead add some animals from the new city wildlife rescue sets (60302, 60307) and this becomes a next level wildlife set (see pics). The build is fantastic - super fun and loaded with great techniques of how to make a landscape look natural with lots of areas to explore. It's full of vibrant colours, shades of trans blue & greens & so many different foliage pieces. Even by the end building this set was so entertaining that on step 550 I was still wowing at how everything fit together and I did not want the build to end. I have built many many sets but this one is something magical and unique. If you are on the fence definitely try to pick this one up before it retires.

I'm in love with this set, it has so many amazing viewing angles and was an absolute pleasure to build. There wasn't one point where I felt like I was getting bored. I can honestly say that this is one of my favourite builds.

I originally bought this set for the pieces and decided to build it once before I parted it out to my collection. After building this beautiful set I could not take it down in my permanent collection for good now

This was overall the best set that I have every got! All of the greenery and scenery are excellent and the minifigures are great. All of the plants were my favourite part, just putting them together was awesome. Overall the set is the best!

This is by far the best landscaping set I have ever seen from Lego, please make more larger landscaping sets in the future for adults.

This was my first “big” lego purchase and I don't regret it at all. It's a very good display piece and has a ton of cute little play features. I grew up with Journey to the West so it's super cool to own this set, it's like owning a piece of my childhood.

This set is wonderful! My husband & I loved putting it together and the monkey minifigures are delightful. There's great details to this set, such as the spiral staircase hiding behind the waterfall, a raft that a monkey may or may not escape on (if he realizes that it's chained to the rocks), a magnificent bird that perches above the whole scene, whisps of clouds that give the mountain a dreamy quality and more! I have this set displayed where I can see it frequently because I think it's a beautiful work of art. I hope there are more sets like this in the future. Also, the value for the price is fantastic.

What a mountain. LEGO has not really had a large mountainous build of this scale before, and this set really delivers. Build: the structure comes together pretty organically with lots of nice techniques to achieve a natural shape. However, the muted green and grey color scheme lasts through the whole build but isn't too bothersome. Play: There is some surprising depth to the model, even though it is clearly intended for display with the flattened back. There is ample room to place lots of figures, including the beautiful selection of unique monkeys (especially the villain Macaque!!). There aren't many play features, as most is left to the imagination, but that doesn't detract from the play experience. On Display: It's very striking, and really stands out when placed among the other Monkie Kid sets. The greenery and waterfalls really pop and could work as any fantastical mountain display. It is certainly a unique and beautiful addition to any display or play space.

I was instantly intrigued when I saw this new set. I knew I would have to buy it right away. I was not disappointed in the final product. It is GORGEOUS!! It is a work of art and a gorgeous piece to display. I'm an adult collector but I can see how children would have endless fun with this set. I love the unique minifigures. The translucent water pieces are beautiful.
