LEGO VIDIYO Folk Fairy Beatbox

The look, feel, and build quality of this product are all excellent. Unfortunately, Lego no longer supports the app connected to this line of products, so I can't comment on the entirety of the intended experience. But this is still a fun, stylish minifig, all the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all I have not downloaded the Vidiyo App and I am actually not likely to. I know that is what they are designed for but I will admit I got these more for the Minifigures than for any interest in making music videos through the App. This does make the set seem expensive, however, if you are going to be using the Vidiyo App then you have to factor in the actual licensing costs to Universal and their Artists that make the App possible by uploading their back catalogue on there. Beyond that the set is actually pretty fun. The box itself is simple to build and even comes with a little storage box for those additional beatbit tiles. The lid for this storage compartment is decoratable and each instruction leaflet gives you three options for a design. Alternatively you could make your own from the pieces included (you do get a few spares) or raid your stash and do something truely unique. The box clips together firmly and the handle feels strongly attached. You could deifnitely use the box to transport your beatbits and minifigure around with no problems. The minifigure itself is nicely detailed and has a front and back print to the torso. The accessories reflect the figure's Vidiyo role and you can easily store the figure with accessories in place in the Beat Box. The included hard plastic fairy wings are absolutely beautiful. The 16 included beatbit tiles are well printed and come in a variety of colours so you can change them out based on the image on the front or their colour. Alternatively you can use them for what they are meant for - special actions within the App. Personally I think they will be a great resource for MOcs, particularly wall art or for using as book covers or vinyl album covers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this for my little girl and she absolutely loves it the instructions are very easy to follow which is always a plus with a 7yr old who has no patience once we built it she spent hours playing with it definitely a bargain but I will definitely be buying her some more

I had a few of my daughters friends over so we decided to build it together.They very quickly lost interest so I was left putting it all together.Once built,they loved it.They were singing and dancing as though they were on stage.Endless hours of fun and imagination.I'm hoping there are other bits you can buy as an add-on or to change it up a little. Please be aware this product comes with small parts so keep an eye on your kids if they're building it with you

We like that using the app will bring the fairy character to life and that you can add effect like magic spell effort to change item into fun objects and you can star in your own music video. You can get more built sacn you just scan the tiles and make different one and on the back you can make different design you can choose the also love that it folds up and you can take with you where ever you go. Love that you can store brick - built scan stage so it allways handy. It helps kids to inspire to direct and star in there own music video and also offer a new social play experience to help kids become directors, producer and music stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Folk Fairy BeatBox was bought for my daughters as a bonging exercise the actual building part of the game seemed to be very intriguing to them and they enjoyed putting the game together. However, they and myself didn't understand s the interactive part of this game.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter built it up as soon as it arrived it was built in no time easiest bit of lego to build only disappointing thing is when my daughter went to get the app it wasn't available in the Google play store so she wasn't able to do what it stated on the instruction

Bad experience with this. Still waiting for walmart to send me refund
