LEGO VIDIYO Metal Dragon BeatBox 43109 Inspire Kids to Direct and Star in Their Own Music Videos (86 Pieces)

Having at first been sceptical about the VIDIYO product line, I couldn't help myself to the METAL DRAGON BEATBOX. Pleasantly surprised, I have been. The build is easy and enjoyable, plus I really like the minifigure that comes in this set... the METAL DRAGON! I haven't yet tried the VIDIYO app but it may be a bit of fun? I think this kind of set is great for LEGO fans who love minifigures and a bit of extra fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I handed the box to my 11 year old grandson and watched as he began to place all the little bits on the table, then frown at the "destructions" as I call them; because you frequently feel like destructing whatever you're building/putting together! I decided to help him and so I found the bits he needed and he put them in the correct place; it was trial and error most of the time because it wasn't totally clear which bits went where, they are so tiny! Anyway, 30 minutes later, we had ourselves a dinky little "boom box" and he tried it out on the app I downloaded to my phone. All-in-all, it kept him entertained for an hour, there's only so much dancing dragon an 11 year old boy can take! He did take it home with him too, so that's a good sign that he loved it. I would say that this particular set was good, but needs more instruction, maybe with the actual brick needed shown at the corner of the square.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lego is very small and hard to build for my 7year old son.The tiny pieces very difficult to mange and hard to keep it.The box was very fancy and colourful but I was not happy with the content.Maybe easy for a teenager.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids have had so much fun using the Dragonbox, endless hours of fun. The Lego bits were easy and clear to put together. The box is a really super cool design with headphones. Once connected to the app the 16 different beats were great and the kids really enjoyed making different videos

Easy to set up and use, my son has non stop been playing with this and has asked for more. Would defo recommend getting this Lego set for kids as has kept him amazed for days now.

It's very portable so easy to bring along on a day out to keep kids occupied. I enjoy that it encourages children to embrace their creativity.

My son is 11 and loves legos so i thought this would be fun for him to do. He loves it and has been having a lot of fun playing with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this to my niece and nephew to test and they loved it. Its quality and they were delighted. Its lego but also useful as, well. Now I have to buy another so they have one each.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite having android 10 and enough memory this wasn't compatible with my phone or my son's. It would have been very disappointing to buy this instead of testing it out to find it wouldn't work Son is happy with the Lego figure but the rest is just a huge disappointment.
