This was bought for an 86 yearold who needed exercise, but has limited movement ability. It works really well for her because it moves without effort from her.
On the first day, I try to do an hour %26 was exhausted like I had 15 miles ! The rest of the week I went 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes at night. After a week I tried to do an hour again and worked it through and even added a little bit and I was not exhausted
The leg exerciser was for someone with MS,they needed something to keep them moving,so this machine was perfect.
I got this for a Mother's Day gift and she loves it. It is very easy for her to use. She uses it daily and loves it.
This thing is great and got it for my 90 year old mom and it has made such a great improvement to her health and wellness and how her circulation has improved since she started using this!!!
We purchased this for my mom . She uses this daily.. She is vision impaired so she can not just walk outside on her own. Very quite.. Gets her motivated..And gets her legs moving.
I am really enjoying my new Legxercise Pro! It is so easy to use and gets my otherwise inactive legs moving at my choice of (2) speeds. I am happy that the "Pro" model comes with a remote control, which the write-up doesn't mention or show in the picture; the remote makes it much easier to use in my chair! I'm keeping the unit plugged in at the front of my recliner and it can stay there whether I am reclined or sitting up straight to use the unit...so convenient!
Surprisingly gives a good workout for my leg muscles! It's quiet and I can stay in the a/c, instead of walking in SW Florida's heat and humidity. I took 1 point off, because it doesn't have a "hold" option. If you need to stop, your step count starts at zero again.
I bought one of these but I'm going to return it because it only worked for about 4 hours over the course of 2 days.. And I don't like that it doesn't have and ""ON"" switch.. I had to bend over and turn it on under the kitchen table. Not the best design; believe me.
I got this for my elderly mom. She has neuropathy in her feet and legs. She hated it! Even though I tried many many times to show her there's different speeds and came with a remote,, she said it hurt to use it. I got her to try different times of the day to see if that would make a difference. She said it hurt to be using it. Her legs did start to swell shortly after her use of it. I tried to use it myself since I am sitting much of my day but I found it unsatisfactory due to the angle of the foot pads. No matter what height of chair I used it with we just plainly were not getting any results that we had originally had hoped for.
