Lehman's Harmonica Hum Teakettle Shiny 304 Stainless Steel Large Spout 5 Quarts

I love this kettle. My family boils water frequently for tea/coffee all day long. It has seamless construction on the inside, and seems to be of durable quality. My only complaint is that the lid is pretty tight, but I leave it ajar, and it works fine.

This pot is EXCELLENT!! Very well made and well worth the money! Heavy duty and will probably last a lifetime! Easily heats up a gallon of water! I HIGHLY recommend this kettle!!

This was a good bit bigger than I was picturing, but that's okay, it will be great to have the capacity in canning season. It is sturdy and well made, and should last a long time. It is a much thicker gauge of steel than you get in the grocery store or big box store.

After buying a few cheap kettles which kept getting white powder on the rims, we splurged for this one and it is amazing!! No white powder, it looks beautiful on our stove, and we have plenty of hot water for coffee and tea throughout the day. The whistle is very pleasant and enjoyable. It cleans super easy. We love it!

Happy Life It has fulfilled her wishes for hot tea and not needing my campfire coffee pot.

I've wanted this tea kettle for years, having suffered through many cheap tea kettles. This tea kettle is the real deal, heavy duty and quite handsome on my wood stove. You can never have enough hot water on an old off-grid Maine farm. This kettle will last a long time, and I'm very happy with this purchase.

It's not that heavy. The steel is not thickened. No metal plate at bottom. I thought it would be more substantial. The spout flap serves no purpose other spilling as you pour. 5 quarts is good, but 6 quarts would be better. The reviews are outstanding.

This is a beautiful tea kettle, very large, and looked great in our kitchen. However, it is not made for a glass top electric stove and shakes terribly on the burner. The bottom is not made for electric stovetops, but rather gas or probably woodstoves, since Lehman's is actually known for their non electric equipment. I very sadly had to return.

One of the main reasons I purchased this kettle was the "Harmonica Hum" as opposed to the customary shrill whistle. Imagine my surprise when the first time i boil a kettle of water I hear an annoying shrill whistle!. I let it go on for a while thinking maybe there's a break in period or it has to achieve it's embouchure. Sadly I don't want to go through the hassle of sending it back and waiting for a replacement. I need the kettle now and it was already late getting here due to shipping via USPS and it getting delayed. Enough aggravation for one item. At lease it doesn't leak and does in fact boil water.

Trying to give a chance to the item I bought a second one. The first one the cover holder broke after three months. I just got a new one maybe about a month ago and the material of the holder gets so hot that it feels going to pop. I need the kettle I like the size the quality not the material. I tried getting a hold of the company, but it's been a month and they haven't returned the email yet so no I would not recommend this at all.
