Leick Home Mission Impeccable Solid Wood Storage End Table, Medium Oak

Highly recommend this cute side table in mission style. Solid wood and easy assembly. I researched other retailers and Walmart had the lowest price on this side table. Other retailers were selling the exact same side table over $240, So Definitely a good value.

I love that it has been built from Solid Ash and real wood throughout, rather than some form of engineered wood that is so common from some furniture manufacturers. Assembly was very simple and secure. Love the color and the drawer is awesome!

Manufacturer's QC leaves a lot to be desired. Upon opening the shipping carton, I immediately noticed a lengthy crack down the side of one of the table's legs. Damage did not likely occur during shipping as the box it was shipped in was well intact and the packing was firm and secure. I used wood glue to 'mend' the broken leg. While assembling the furniture, I noticed additional damage on the bottom of the other leg-side. Won't risk purchasing any additional furniture either from the manufacturer or from Walmart... 3rd-rate garbage! I sent previously communication to Walmart requesting either a full or partial refund. We'll see if the retailor does the honorable thing.

Again, Product ( end table) had slits in tabletop and lower shelves. Support wood glued to lower shelf, where fasteners tighten, broke off before fasteners fully took hold (3 out of 4). This was due to items not being square when assembled at origin assembler. Friction is now about 25% of what is holding the table together. At some point, I will probably have to intervene with a DIY solution to ensure the longevity of this table. While I understand that I purchased the lower cost of three such models of this table, for the price, I could have gotten more value for the dollar by going through IKEA, with a better initial construction result. Well, functional at the lowest end of my acceptance, this is not at all what I expected from Walmart quality. My initial understanding of how to create a return, is by far not worth my time effort and abilities.
