It seems solid and stable. The only problem I had was trying to figure out how to put it in place and tighten it. The little tags on it were not a lot of help. But I have it up and used it twice and its tight. If I had to explain how to get it in place and tighten it, I couldn't. I dont really know how I managed to get it up and tighten it .
Very sturdy, bought for 8 yo and for occasional use to stretch our backs:).
