i have used this seasoning several times make jerky and it is my absolute favorite seasoning

I've used the mesquite flavor for several years. It's the only one I buy anymore. I add an extra teaspoon per/lb of ground meat of coarse ground black pepper to give it spice and a little heat. If I use sliced meats, I let it marinade for at least 72 hours before curing/drying it so it penetrates fully. Can't beat this stuff for consistency.

Excellent flavor. That is the only flavor I use anymore. Here is a helpful hack: add 1-2 teaspoons of mesquite liquid smoke for every 5 pounds of meat if you desire a little stronger mesquite flavor.

I like the product I like the service, but this is the first time it came without the pink cure. Not sure if things have changed.
