I really like these bagels. They are smaller than the ones from other brands, but that's okay , because I don't need all those carbs lol. I like the fact that the refrigerated already as they last longer than the ones that are not, and if you put those kther in the refrigerator they seem to go stale. For the bang for the buck , I say give him a try.

Perfect Breakfast....

Katherine May 18, 2026

As a family in the 80's, we did a lot of camping with our three kids. My favorite time was waking in the morning and putting my Lender's Plain Bagel in the toaster oven. It would just get crispy and a layer of Philadelphia Cream Cheese made a perfect breakfast. Still today these bagels make a great breakfast!!

Good bagel for the price

LISA November 10, 2025

I'm not comparing these bagels to any other brand. If you've had Lender's bagels and like them price is great. I may be jinxing myself, but they are always in stock. When I was a city girl a fresh bagel maybe still warm was easy to find. Now a country mouse with a mouse's purse Lender's bagels good bang for the buck.

Lender's Original Bagels, plain or other varieties are as close to a real New York Bagel bakery bagel as you can get. texture and taste, size and finish are as good or better than my other brand on the market selling for two or three times the price. Most other brands are just bread in the shape of a bagel, bigger and tasteless. They're made without boiling, without a genuine water bagel process and lacking true bagel ingredients. The cost for 6 is what you're going to pay for a single phony Noah's Bagel

Yosef Hayon

For many years they were number one. A very large company bought them and immediately started skimping on quality and that completely ruined them. I stopped buying them at that time until recently when I gave them another chance and to my complete surprise they came out on top and more

Best Bagel Around

Don February 16, 2026

Lender's is a brand my family has requested over and over. They have a great taste and are especially good toasted. Sandwiches, pbj, anything actually taste great on them. They are exactly what a bagel should taste like. Only brand I buy. They cost a little more than the ordinary bagels but are well worth it the price and Walmart has a great price on them always.

Favorite toaster bagel! Not mushy - a light toasting gives a nice outer crunch while maintaining a tasty textured inside. I'm not a cream cheese person, I prefer this with butter and/or raspberry jam. This also pairs well with ham and cheese, or even cooked chicken for a more protein packed, more filling sandwich. Either way, it's a quick, easy, tasty breakfast.

VERY CHEWY-cut into bite sizes first

Mary February 1, 2026

Your first choice in a bagel should always be freshly made. That said, if you can't get to a bakery or even the local bakery section of the grocery store, these will fill in ok. They're very chewy though. so after you toast them and spread whateer you spread on them, you'll likely want to cut them with a serated edge knife into 5 equal sections. If you don't, you will be wearing all that spread in your lap. It's very hard to bite off a piece because they're so chewy. The flavor is good, but I really suggest cutting them into bit-sized pieces.

This is not the first time ordering these bagels. And I didn't have a problem in the past. But it seems to me that they are not the same. The freshness is not there as before. I don't know if they are old and not checked for the length of time refrigerated.. other than that, I will try them once more.

Will not buy these again.

Danial May 19, 2026

These were substituted by the delivery driver for the brand I normally buy. I won't be buying these again. Texture and flavor are not good. Very bland. Also, I was only able to eat 3 out of the package. After just a few days, the rest of them molded.
