Well, my Samsung Tab S2 was excellent, but she finally got a little more sluggish then normal. And my Toshiba laptop that I've had for about 7 years served me well. So I was looking for an inexpensive computer tablet to use for surfing , word processing, and worksheets. I did some research and found that a touch screen Chromebook fit my needs. So I found this Lenovo Duet, and let me say this. I love it! Long battery life, detachable magnetic keyboard, vibrant screen, it's perfect. And the price through Walmart was awesome !
I'm very pleased with this purchase. As a windows user it took a bit of getting used to but I love the size and convenience of being able to use it anywhere. Good battery life but the sound volume is a bit low from some sources.
I think it's better than the Samsung Chromebook I've used both got a very good resolution screen quality the one thing I didn't like about it there's no USB ports no ports at all just a power slot no SD card slot nothing it's really just a tablet but it works great good little tablet
It's exactly what it is supposed to be and outperforms other "2 in 1" devices. Resolution is good, battery life as promised. Quick response. The one thing l miss is a USB plug but l could always use a converter. Having some difficulty connecting 2 separate Bluetooth headphones...Perhaps user error The keyboard is pretty nice and included. Only drawback is lack of "delete" key. Instead use control backspace. Overall, I am very happy with this item and will recommend.
When I first opened the box and saw how little the tablet screen was, I thought I made a bad decision with this purchase. However, once I attached the keyboard and the magnetic backing/kickstand, the overall appearance of it made me change my mind. The look of it was so sleek and appealing. Just that alone made me more confident in my purchase. Then I turned it on and the graphics were great. I use it for writing and grammarly corrections on my book. I love that I can take it anywhere. And my kids even use it for their homework assignments when we're on the way home from school. The only downside of a chromebook is the navigation. You have to get used to it. Other than that, its appearance, multi-use functionality, and portability makes this my best purchase of the year. I'm very happy with it. AND..... I bought the warranty because I would like to get my money's worth on this product for at least two to three years.
I bought this Chromebook after going through many reviews and videos. Based on my own needs, everything (good and bad) about this product is expected, but I never went to Best Buy to check the real product by myself. Once I got the piece and tried for few days, I'd say it's actually beyond my expectation. Especially the kick stand, it's stronger than some reviewers said. The reason I don't give it a 5 star is that they should seriously consider putting a microSD card lot in it.
I've had it for a few weeks now and I like it. It's a perfect size and the included keyboard is nice. I love ChromeOS, it's very simple without missing necessary features. It's a great tablet with some laptop features, but this is not going to replace a laptop. The display is really nice, except in certain apps like Pinterest. The system lags from time to time, but it happens more often when pushing it too much. Don't be surprised if it glitches every now and then, especially when you're constantly switching apps. Overall, it's nice as a secondary computer for basic work and entertainment. It's just not great for heavy use, which is not what I needed it for, I have an iMac, so it suits my needs.
Love the design and form factor, but this chromebook was slow and it stuttered when web browsing. I saw reviews that showed quick, snappy performance, but this was not the experience my kids and I had over the course of approximately 10 days. I returned it, and will purchase a different chromebook with a more powerful CPU.
The Lenovo Duet is lacking in many ways. we purchased ours to use for virtual school, Sophomore year. Every time we go to edit school work with it though, it freezes up completely. It doesn't matter if the battery is 100% or the device is plugged in, nothing seems to change this malfunction. it's unfortunate that it has been too long passed purchase date to return as it is messing with my daughter's grades and on all of our nerves
I just got this computer for Christmas and just started using it and there is a USB cord that you have to plug in to the computer in order to plug in headphones.... my piece broke and I was on the phone all morning with the company going around and around trying to figure out just how to replace it… Just to find out that this particular piece has been discontinued… The computer is brand new and barely used and nobody can seem to fix it and parts are already being discontinued...Do not recommend this company or this computer!!!!!!!!
