Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16" 2560 x 1600 Laptop, i7-12700H, 32GB, 2TB SSD, Storm Gray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Working on Lenovo laptops in my corporate job for many years, once I retired and needed to buy a personal laptop, it was a no brainer. I opted for the Legion as I am more an audio recording hobbyist than a gamer and wanted a bit more power. So far I am very happy with the Legion and fits all my requirements I need and would certainly buy again.

I am pleased with the customer service, as I talked to several different reps who did a great job helping me out when I had issues with shipping.

Only issue was i was promised computer one day and the afternoon i was supposed to get itrm i got a email saying it would be delayed no eta. I called em up and issue was quickley resolved and was notified they had put it expedited.

I also do a lot of business stuff (MS Office, Adobe), but wanted a computer that could handle the work load. This computer does what I needed and SO much more! It's ridiculously fast, and it's great to know I can expand the memory if necessary in the future. I'm VERY pleased with this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lenovo Legion 5i pro packs a lot of performance into a nicely sized package. I spec'd mine towards the higher end to support my gaming and video editing needs, and it does not disappoint. Consistently high frame rates in game, decent battery life, and free of bloatwsre. I'm new to using a laptop as a home pc, and I am pleased with performance and value of the Legion 5i Pro. One small bit of advice, research how to configure your settings for your needs. Out of the box it works great, but there is potential to Taylor settings to meet your needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good and powerful laptop for several uses and not just gaming, i'm using it in coding and software building, multitasking and machine learning.. very effective, i was surprised that the (Fn + Q) function to change the performance modes also worked by default on my Manjaro (Linux) setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Searching for a long term laptop led me down the rabbit hole of performance options and balancing a reasonable price. Hence the legion 5i. I'm not a gamer or a browser of trinkets. I do however have a big love for music. Both listening to and playing music has developed into a large collection of songs, lyrics, endless set lists, band photos and various information. Not to mention protools recording software and the like. So I needed something up to date to last long term with a good amount of storage space. I believe this was my best choice around $1700. A "gaming " computer is just a term. No I don't need awesome graphics for what I'm doing but hey.. Look at all the guts. That's where it's at.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Boot up speeds are not as fast as I would expect from a new machine that doesn't seem to have bloatware, and the ethernet card when plugged in directly to my router (CAT6 cable) takes noticeably long to detect & acquire IP address & connect. (this is while in the login / password entry screen)... I think this maybe a Windows 11 issue though... Lenovo should allow for ordering machines in Windows 10 until these issues are resolved by Microsoft.
