Lenovo Legion K500 Wired RGB Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

This is my first GOOD keyboard. I'm used to the typical "office" style. This is much quicker to type on and the feedback is nice. It works great for gaming too! Keep in mind that it's a bit louder than the "office" keyboards. Not a big deal for me, but it makes it sound like you are super-fast at typing.

The keys are a bit more sensitive than I am used to, but thats something I think will get better with use. I do think I type a bit quicker because of it already. I have found it a bit difficult to customize the backlighting how I want it, but that is probably user error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a gamer just wanted the colorful backlit keys. The characters on the top row of keys are easier to recognize than they are on the Logitech G213 and cost less and feels a lot more sturdy too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice keyboard with HD woven cord that is angled to the right. The handrest is great. I wish it had some better set-up instructions in the box. I had to look things up online and download files to get all the functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Despite its advertised heavy build and cool RGB effects, this keyboard is undercut by significant flaws. The keys are disappointingly flimsy and produce an excessively loud click that will disturb anyone nearby. The included plastic wrist rest feels cheap and is practically useless. While the one-touch button to disable keys is a nice touch for gamers, these positives are overshadowed by the poor typing experience. For the price, you are paying for aesthetics over quality, and it is not built for comfortable daily use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a bad purchase. The keyboard will not allow more than one color when you setup a custom keyboard layout. For example, if you want the number keypad to be red, and the F keys to be green, and the rest of the keys to be blue, you cannot do it. The Lenovo Legion accessories software only accepts one color for the configuration or profile. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers, the Lenovo software, even switched to different USB ports on my Legion laptop (not using a hub), nothing seems to make it work with more than one color per custom configuration. The reviews about it being a noisy keyboard are also true.
