Tired of buying the low end junk that worked maybe for 30 days if you were lucky I happened across this one, first thing that impressed me was the fast boot time at 9 seconds not 75 like the RCA and Nextbooks. The picture resolution is amazing at 1920 X 1200 making it viewable from any angle clearly and right at home watching 1080i movies! The Dolby sound bar is great for movies and gaming and has plenty of tweaks for just listening or with head phones, great full sound and lots of it. Performance offline is lag free, virtually instant response (thanks to 2 gigs of onboard ram) while online performance will have you wondering who upgraded your internet service, it will be much faster! No squishy deforming screen edges like in the cheapo tablets, this is a solid well built product with excellent fit and finish. Temperature while under heaviest of loads is barely detectable while battery life went over 11 hours.....nice! Running Android KitKat 4.4 it just purrs right along and yes it is slated for OS upgrade to Lollipoop 5.0 which will improve performance further yet....why, because Lenovo doesn't just dump off the shelf Google upgrades on you, Lenovo makes sure it is right before you get it! All in all I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed and this will be something with minimal care that will serve well for years to come not just weeks. If you are not thrilled with this tablet....I'll eat a bug!!
This is an excellent tablet for anyone, especially novices. Easy to use right out of the box. I purchased this tablet for my wife because she complained her I Pad was too heavy when reading books online. The Lenova is thin, lightweight, and has a brilliant display. The Atmos Dolby sound bar provides wonderful clear sound with an abundance of options in settings. Its long life battery makes it the perfect travel companion. My wife loves it.
Picked this up on sale. It has better resolution (1920x1200) and has double the RAM (2GB) than the current "A" model for sale at Lenovo as well as many other similar brands in comparison. The visuals are great and the device has a solid feel to it. It does have the (5.0.1) version of the Android OS, even though it was advertised as a 4.4 version, sweeeet. That being said, I have no plans for gaming on this tab. Don't use the speakers (weak sound), the headphone has awesome sound with the Dolby Atmos. I absolutely love this tab, and am glad I didn't spend more on another good and well-known brand
This tablet is excellent, the resolution is better than most in its same size, it also takes a external memory card to expand storage. The only issue I have with this tablets so far is the hiss when you plug in your headphones. But the hiss can only be noticed when there is silence in the track or a break with no sound.
This tablet was purchased to replace a very old 9.7 inch Android tablet. Lenovo is the top selling brand of Windows PC's today. It's a Chinese company who made the PC's for IBM when they sold them many years ago. It has a 1920x1080 IPS display and a quad core 1.7 GB 64 bit processor to provide competitive performance. It also has a Micro SD card slot for expansion to it's internal 16 GB memory. For $150 its a top value in my opinion.
I purcharsed tablet for my mother. She loves it. My only complaint is that when it was delivered, the inflated bags that were shipped inside the box were deflated. It works and loves the big screen. Definitely worth the money. Quick delivery as well.
I have an Apple iPad Mini and an Apple Airport Extreme router. This Lenovo smokes the iPad in speed, and half the price. Apple is too over priced, especially compared to other similar products. I am pleased. Thanks
I'm impressed by the sharp images and the size of the screen. My husband, who is a pastor, wanted something he can carry around and use to prepare his messages on Powerpoint, and was very happy he was able to do that. I only wish it comes with a bigger storage. The biggest that I found was 16G. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This tablet works very well and the camera gives excellent; very sharp pics except when you use the video mode, the pic wavers alittle, so you have to keep the tab pretty steady. Otherwise it works Great. I would've given it a (5) only for the fact that when it upgrades to Lollipop a warning prompt will always appear on the screen when the tab bootsup. I wish it upgraded to Marshmellow because that OS eliminates that problem. The battery life is just AWESOME and the Processor is pretty fast. If you use it for casual use, it's an excellent tablet. If you use it for Gaming alot, you may want to get a 32 or 64 gb SD card. I would recommend this product.
needs more memory. runs pretty slow. Browser occasionally crashes.
