[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Many options out there for a business laptop and Lenovo continue to not disappoint when it comes to performance and value. Easily found what I was looking for on the Lenovo site and it arrived with no delay. Lenovo is the trusted brand for my business products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is all I expected. The only flaws were a glitch on startup which was fixed with a bios update. Also the power button does stick a bit, but it quickly gets unstuck and doesn't cause any problems for now. Additionally, it makes a slightly annoying high pitched sound, but I think this is only a problem if you have supersonic hearing like I do. Plus I believe this is a problem on all laptops with a GPU. The battery life works for me and could probably last anywhere from 3-9 (3 if you were gaming, rendering, or doing heavy tasks, and 9 if you were just browsing the internet or doing everyday tasks). The laptop works great for gaming and has the same capability (if not better) of my HP Pavilion gaming desktop, the only problem is the heat it produces which is pretty normal for gaming laptops. I really enjoy the backlights on the keyboard and the quality of the sound. I'd say this is a great laptop if you're looking for something for class/work and gaming. Also the laptop is essentially silent when doing light tasks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this laptop is perfect for my needs. with two screens extending my desktop i can run 3d models alongside adobe creative apps and keep track of my workflow on a third screen without any lag or waiting it's a serious workstation that has increased my productivity immensely
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned many high-performance laptops over the years, but the Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 6 blows them all away. With its 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900H, 32GB of RAM, and blazing-fast 1TB SSD, this beast handles everything I throw at it — from large Excel files linked to SQL databases to virtualization tasks and content creation — effortlessly and without breaking a sweat. The display is stunning and super responsive, the build quality is classic ThinkPad excellence, and all the business-class features (TPM, vPro, Secure Boot, and Hypervisor protections) give me confidence in both performance and security. It's fast, cool, and reliable — the perfect blend of power and portability. If you need a serious workstation that won't let you down, this is it. Highly recommended!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the sixth Lenovo Think product I have purchased over the years (starting with a T61 laptop back in 2005) and they were all fantastic. This one, while physically excellent, with Windows 11 is a nightmare! Computers running Windows 11 are no longer a valuable and useful professional tool. Instead they are an impediment to accomplishing any attempted serious work. I wish Lenovo was able to offer a simpler version of this OS without all the useless crap (ads, games, etc). To call computers running Windows 11 Professional a workstation is a great misnomer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After upgrading the ram from 16gb to 32gb, system runs very quickly. Linux actually runs VERY well on this including great audio. Only complaint is it gets hot and a little noisy when its under a decent work load. If they made it 1/4in thicker with thicker heat pipes and larger fans, it would run much quieter & cooler. The 1/4in thickness would be barely noticable... please take note Lenovo. ;)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product works fine for the most part, however it heats up quite a bit even when just doing simple tasks like playing a video. It also does this weird glitch where it keeps turning on and off again. It is quite annoying when I'm trying to get work done.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was working fantastic for the first 3 days. Then out of no where the screen started to act funny. It would black out sporadically while in use and would sometimes not turn back out without restarting. I am currently attempting to get it fixed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the computer, but the hardware was faulty: the screen would flicker whenever I attempted to wake it up from sleep, preventing me from unlocking the computer. I have since returned it.
The laptop has been nothing but trouble. From the automatic features to ports not working, it's been not good at all. I already used one warranty trip and now I'll have to use another. The thing is, I have classes for the next seven weeks, so I can't get it fixed until then
