[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Laptops works fine out of box, seems to be decently durable. Touchpad feels quite nice, plus the click buttons and trackpoint are good features. Make sure you either know how to navigate BIOS or can deal with swapped FN and CTRL buttons, because they're swapped (as they are on all Thinkpads).
This thing feels VERY repairable, with only a single screwdriver and a plastic spudger to get to the internals! It's a shame more laptops aren't as repairable as this one.
All this said, the stock WiFi card on this laptop is awful, especially if you're trying to run Linux. It prevents the computer from waking from sleep properly on Linux, and will leave you without WiFi after waking. If you plan on running Linux, make sure you buy a new WiFi card like the Intel AX210.
