[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good, it's plastic on the outside and the others I ordered were of metal construction at this price range the plastic makes it feel cheap but what's on the inside is working fine. Shipping was slow even though we selected expedited it took 5 weeks to receive, can from outside of the USA even though we ordered from the US Store. Time will be the deciding factors if we continue buying this brand for our company.

Using AutoCAD, Inventor, VCarve, and several other general work productivity programs open at the same time with multiple monitors and a Thunderbolt 4 dock. Programs open fast, and fans barely get going with everything on screens at once.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was wary of the size of the laptop but it is not a hefty or large as I expected. This being my 8th or 9th ThinkPad (going back to 701c Butterfly era), quality does to disappoint. Keyboard feel and type is great as usual. The 4k screen resolution is bright and very usable for my daily use. As I am not a "gamer" I cannot vouch for graphic extensive games but Microsoft and Adobe graphic apps run very well.

I do some occasional CAD work and MSP work. I didn't expect a huge difference, but I was blown away with the difference. I couldn't recommend this enough, it is a great work machine.

I use it for personal activities (email, photo editing, web browsing, and documents) and for business (bookkeeping, documents, and emails). The screen is sharp and clear with excellent color and the keyboard and touchpad work really well. I am able to connect a monitor to the laptop and use both the laptop screen and the monitor as workspaces. I am extremely happy with my ThinkPad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very fast, well built and capable laptop, but it needs a touchscreen. Also, it's time for a new operating system. Microsoft is trying to made everything run like a tablet built for Facebook and I'm trying to use this Thinkpad for serious imaging.

The unit itself is fantastic, lightweight, easy to transport, is 'durable' to accidental bumps, types wonderfully, etc. No complaints! This was purchased as a new employee being onboarded to a business. Much of these issues are software related, I realize, however IT support is getting stumped by many of them. Microsoft desktop + online apps do not seem so sync team changes and will, in some cases, actually OVERRIDE the work of another (beyond infuriating). Popups to leave or go to any link within the site is also an issue regardless of search engine. With every click, the user is prompted, "Are you sure you want to leave this page? Your changes might not be saved." And then you need to confirm this -- constantly. Updates, restarts, etc. doesn't seem to address these issues on a brand new unit with very little on it. It's most likely settings but even with IT intellect, this version is stumping the crew in a few necessary-for-business areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great lightweight laptop, easy to carry, but the battery really needs to last longer. I'm getting on average around 5-6 hours of continuous use on a charge. They put an ultra-high efficiency chip in the laptop to save power and size at the expense of expandability, which is fine for me because I put a high value on the weight savings, and I was willing to short myself on a bit of performance for that benefit, but I really thought the battery would last longer. Overall, the laptop is still the great quality Lenovo laptop as always. Great keyboard and screen. One problem I've run into now for two different laptops - there is a setting in the Lenovo software that it will put the laptop into sleep mode if the camera doesn't see a person in front of the computer after 30 seconds to a couple of minutes. Incredibly annoying. That should be off by default. There is no mention of that setting be on by default anywhere and it's rather hard to find. Still, there's no other laptop with the quality of Lenovo. Wish they were a bit cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Definitely get the longest extended warrantee you can afford. One failure or damage in the third or fifth year and you'll be kicking yourself if you didn't pay for it up front.

The downside is the size; it is thicker than it's predecessor and the texture of the exterior is matte. Regardless, the typing experience is good, and the interior is sleek, so I will forgive the bulky housing.
