I bought the T15 15" about 1 month ago. I do a lot of data analysis and writing, and up to this point it has been a great computer. Nice upgrade from my T470

This works well. It's fast, it starts right up and connects and does everything I need quickly. No more waiting 10 minutes for a boot up or waiting for things to connect. I am happy that it works very well. I do not remember if other laptops have the small keypad. I did not realize it until my daughter pointed out. That's why I feel comfortable when I use it.

Lenovo Rep was the most helpful and provided honest advice when making the decision- they really listen to your needs to make the perfect match.

It's fast, efficient, especially during start up as no waiting around to start. I'm impressed w/laptop. I built my own to fit my needs. I need another USB port, I may need to find an alternative to use extra C port. But all in all a very good laptop, I'd get another if needed. Hope this one lasts longer than 2 yrs (hp), Acer still chugging along & current backup laptop since Vista days now Win7 when the HDD went. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a developer. I've had a T30 (starting in 2003), T42, T420S and a T570. Overall, I've been very happy with all of them including the T15. The only thing keeping me from rating this five stars is the change to a low profile trackpoint pointer. The old style 6mm "classic dome" trackpoint cap is no longer available. The current trackpoint is now almost unusable due to finger strain. It shorter and thus there is less leverage to move it. It is certainly not usable for any long period of time. Since I have used the trackpoint for over 18 years, I can say I am very disappointed in this update to the Thinkpad. I am now forced to use a mouse...very much against my will.

A capable laptop, fast with adequate storage, but with several faults. The fingerprint reader works poorly, often unable to identify the user, even after multiple attempts. This is unlike the fingerprint reader on earlier Thinkpads, which worked flawlessly. The keypad is not backlit, which is often a serious inconvenience, and there aren't enough USB ports. Making that worse, the only USB port on the right side of the laptop is close to the front of the computer, which interferes with the use of an external mouse (if you are right-handed).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I love this laptop. I gave it only 4 stars because of the camera quality ( I need high def) and the audio quality. And there's no adjustment for either. So I had to go buy an external high def webcam that contains audio.
