[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and light, perfect for taking to class everyday. Only downside is a lack of ports (including a standard USB) and no SD or MicroSD card slot. However, if that is the sacrifice to fit everything into such a small package, it is worth it.

The keyboard is the same size as my previous 14in X1s, it just goes almost edge to edge. The top cover is rock solid some special material. The high end lenovo computers have always lasted me at least 4 years, with heavy business use. I have no doubt this one will be the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the laptop I've been waiting for Lenovo to make. A smaller, lighter version of the X1 Carbon. Incredibly light, fast, and a beautiful screen. I only wish the RAM were upgradable and the outside were something other than the fingerprint prone rubberized finish.

With 16GB memory configuration I am running many demanding applications on it simultaneously and it's holding up pretty well. So far the battery charge has been lasting 6+ hours with moderate to high usage. If you are ok with using the USB C hub to connect all other accessories then this is a great portable powerhouse to carry around and meet most of your computing needs. I am not a gaming user and don't intend to use this unit as a gaming laptop, but for demanding business users, this is the perfect companion.

However, the presence detection in the BIOS isn't smart enough to handle clamshell mode (lid shut, external monitor), leaving an afternoon to tweak with registry settings, read online, find the BIOS settings to disable it, and then later update the firmware because the cmos battery wasn't behaving (which failed the first time and had to be recovered). An unfortunate rough spot in the total package that caused a lot of wasted time on my side.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You're paying for luxury, not specs. Keeping that in mind it's an amazing feat of engineering, however if you're looking for a workhorse laptop, there are many other options that aren't too much larger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The touchpad has stopped working and I have had to re-start the computer on a number of occasions to get it fixed. The camera now is also not working. It's very frustrating. And I can't find any help online.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First bootup after opening package - suffered from "We couldn't complete the updates. Undoing changes." error message. The error looped for several hours without progressing. Had to shut off wifi to force computer to start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's lightweight and fast as long as you don't expect to use an external monitor. When I connect to an external monitor, everything slows down. Programs like Zoom and SnagIt barely function. I'm disappointed that such an expensive laptop can't handle one external monitor.
