Great laptop.

Franklin Ramirez July 29, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great laptop with the option to use as a tablet. I/O is serviceable could maybe use another thunderbolt port on the right side. Other wise the best laptop I've ever owned. Definitely get the sim card model.

First Impressions

Dan Ren January 5, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lenovo has come a long way the last few years on reliability and service. This is the 3rd Lenovo I have bought in the last 6 years, one was a gift. Like the quality and build of the new ThinkPad X1 Titanium Yoga, sound, and lightness. Only down side was limited ports, but I knew that when I purchased this computer. I would purchase again.

Excellent Notebook

henryd August 8, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Notebook. Great that it came with Windows 10 pre-installed, save from having to uninstall windows 11. Everything works as intended, no issues so far. Would recommend this notebook to anyone looking for a small light weight notebook. Easy to set up large monitor for home/desk work.

Incredible Mobile Professional's Device

D Wickman February 17, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An excellent device for Mobile Business Work. User is traveling a building and notating everyone's Covid tests [daily] and updating databases while also maintaining communication with several Unions and satellite locations. Fantastic for work, Fun when using as an Artist's Easel, and really cool to be able to play Minecraft on it, too!

Second to none as a travel gadget

Marxu May 9, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the 11th i7 is finally here. It runs great with Xe GPU. I tested running the DaVinci Resolve 17 without any problem. The only thing I don't like is the fan noise under high pressure - not even really high just open a few windows. I have the high-end specs: 1180G/16G/1T. The weight and size are amazing! It feels much easier than holding my wife's 11inch iPad Pro with the smart keyboard cover. One thing you should be aware of if the 3:2 ratio. A lot of website are adopting the 16:9 even 16:10 design. When I browse these websites. contents at both ends won't show. I have to drag it to the extend screen - I use the ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock. I struggled between this one and the X1 Yoga Gen 6. I would think again after owning this one. If you are buying this one as a second laptop, you won't go wrong. Otherwise don't buy this one. The new designed pen is great - much better than the previous ones. It stays at the right edge of the screen.

Wonderful. . .But Know It's Limitations

DougB Clev February 13, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the size, don't love the limited number of ports. But, with that being said, I am thrilled so for with my X1. It is great for my purposes. I use it with external display, keyboard, and mouse when in my office. Travel is really easy with the small size and weight.

lightweight powerful computer

A A A A January 2, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The computer is lightweight. I have say that I bought the same model in summer and had to return it as it was heating up a lot. I tried my luck again a couple of month ago and had to wait till my customized computer has been shipped. This one seem to be ok in terms of temperature. I have been with Lenovo computers since they were IBM and my first computer served me 10 years and is still alive. I do love having a pen as I take a lot of hand written notes. I did know that because this computer is so thin there is no place to park a pen. The pen does go missing - the magnet is not strong to keep it in place. That is something that I will have to get used to and I wished there were better solution for that. Hence 4 stars and not 5. Other then that it is elegant, fast , thin, and fast Lenovo computer. Hope if will last.

Less than pleased

Swgal13 January 19, 2022

Good product overall. However, within 3 days of having owned it, I got a pop-up telling me to restart in order to install microphone and camera updates. Once I did that, the speakers no longer worked. I had to pay money for software support to troubleshoot and update speaker drivers. I had just bought this laptop and already I was shelling out money for support! Once the speakers were fixed, the audio port no longer worked with my IPhone earbuds. The tech said I would need to test it with something else, like external speakers, to determine if the laptop has a hardware issue. I haven't done that yet. Also, I went to register the laptop online with Lenovo and their system said my serial number was invalid. After a lengthy hold waiting to speak with someone, i was told to send an email to the company, along with scanned copies of my receipt and the tag on my laptop that showed the serial number. That worked, but, again, Lenovo sells me a laptop with a serial number they don't even have in their system?! And then makes me do a bunch of extra work to prove I bought it?! One last beef. The fingerprint Touch ID pad is almost useless. It reads my thumbprint maybe one time in 5. They have a lot they could learn from Apple, which gets it every time. Other than that, I love the light weight and it's working just fine.

Too Thin For It's Own Good

Zarzak January 24, 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a close to great laptop that is held back by being 'too' focused on thinness. Good: 3:2 aspect ratio convertible/writing works well thunderbolt 4 screen quality processor choice physical camera shutter! Bad: Keyboard (too shallow, due to thinness) Lack of physical trackpad buttons like the other x-series models (the haptic buttons are pretty bad) Battery life (small battery size due to thinness) Port selection Ugly: The fingerprint reader doesn't work great - its very inconsistent I had horrible speaker driver issues - it required hours of support and factory refreshes to fix. Overall if the laptop was a smidge thicker and heavier it could have had a much better keyboard, trackpad buttons, a bigger battery, and a larger port selection ... it would have been close to perfect then. Alternatively, if Lenovo wanted to go the super thin route they should have worked to make a fanless model similar to the macbook air. Finally ... its 2022, everyone is using zoom - this should have a higher quality webcam.

Good on paper, poor quality control?

RY208 April 9, 2021

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cool idea, but it doesn't really feel premium. The top cover is so thin that it was permanently warped slightly when I received the laptop, one corner of the display was bent upwards. Top cover/display didn't line up right with the laptop's body when the laptop was closed. Also, the display loosely slapped against the bottom of the laptop when in tablet mode. Coming from Macs, I expected the build quality to be similar considering the price of this laptop. I was ultimately disappointed and I returned it to Lenovo who were very helpful in that process. Maybe wait for the second or third generation of this product. Also, this isn't Lenovo's fault and they are very clear about the dimensions of the laptop, but the 3:2 aspect ratio makes it very square and finding a sleeve that fits it might be harder than you think.
