May be pushing too hard on the ‘thinner is better' belief but overall I think the quality of the touchpad and keyboard remain preserved. The screen is great and the tactile response works well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, the 11th i7 is finally here. It runs great with Xe GPU. I tested running the DaVinci Resolve 17 without any problem. The only thing I don't like is the fan noise under high pressure - not even really high just open a few windows. I have the high-end specs: 1180G/16G/1T. The weight and size are amazing! It feels much easier than holding my wife's 11inch iPad Pro with the smart keyboard cover. One thing you should be aware of if the 3:2 ratio. A lot of website are adopting the 16:9 even 16:10 design. When I browse these websites. contents at both ends won't show. I have to drag it to the extend screen - I use the ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock. I struggled between this one and the X1 Yoga Gen 6. I would think again after owning this one. If you are buying this one as a second laptop, you won't go wrong. Otherwise don't buy this one. The new designed pen is great - much better than the previous ones. It stays at the right edge of the screen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good computer. There was a bit of a hardware problem that required fixing. One of the speakers was rattling around. It was fixed under warranty with a bit of double sticky tape. Maybe it would be a good idea to use adhesive in assembly to prevent such a problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop is perfect with one exception -- sometimes when I open the laptop, it doesn't wake up and I have to force it to restart. I've tried adjusting all the sleep/hibernate settings with no luck. I would LOVE to fix this problem and then this computer would be perfect.

Good product overall. However, within 3 days of having owned it, I got a pop-up telling me to restart in order to install microphone and camera updates. Once I did that, the speakers no longer worked. I had to pay money for software support to troubleshoot and update speaker drivers. I had just bought this laptop and already I was shelling out money for support! Once the speakers were fixed, the audio port no longer worked with my IPhone earbuds. The tech said I would need to test it with something else, like external speakers, to determine if the laptop has a hardware issue. I haven't done that yet. Also, I went to register the laptop online with Lenovo and their system said my serial number was invalid. After a lengthy hold waiting to speak with someone, i was told to send an email to the company, along with scanned copies of my receipt and the tag on my laptop that showed the serial number. That worked, but, again, Lenovo sells me a laptop with a serial number they don't even have in their system?! And then makes me do a bunch of extra work to prove I bought it?! One last beef. The fingerprint Touch ID pad is almost useless. It reads my thumbprint maybe one time in 5. They have a lot they could learn from Apple, which gets it every time. Other than that, I love the light weight and it's working just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was talked into switching my order for a X12 detachable for this computer after the 'ships in 7 days' turned into 6 months for the X12. In short, it is an ok computer, but a disappointment. The first time I took it on a site visit the wifi stopped working, there is some discoloration starting on the chassis (looks like overheating?) and for something that is supposed to be ultra-portable and used as a tablet part of the time the lack of any sort of case is a real shortcoming. Also, because they have completely removed the standard USB port, I need to travel with a bag of adapters and port replicators. Performance-wise, it seems acceptable, but has essentially the same specifications and performance as the C930 Yoga that I purchased 3 years ago for less money. The screen is sharp and clear, but does tend to pick up fingerprints, and there are some issues with delays and not registering the pen input consistently. I also wish they had a pen slot, or more secure way of storing the pen (the magnetic side of the screen is nice, but not really secure, its more of a way to keep the pen from rolling around if you are sitting somewhere with the computer, not holding it while walking or carrying the laptop in a bag). Finally, the aspect ratio of the display means that the computer dimensions are fairly unique, so you can't repurpose many accessories for other computers (like protective cases or sleeves, etc.) Also, the thunderbolt port spacing is just slightly different (maybe 1mm or less) from many other models. That makes port replicators with dual plugs that seem like they should fit incompatible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a lot to like about this laptop and I'm hoping the replacement resolves the two quality issues of the first unit. First the top edge of the cover was not evenly attached to the screen leaving an exposed edge that could snag. But worse was the fit of the USB-C connector on the power supply. It flexes up and down by the height of the connector, leading me to think it would fail quickly. The connection on my T490 is solid by comparison.
