Let’s Dig In Sheet Cake

My grandson absolutely LOVED this cake for his fifth birthday party! It looked so cool and was delicious! The buttercream frosting was sublime! Looking forward to another cake from Walmart! Fantastic quality and excellent value!

Walmart exceeded my expectations! The cake came out awesome! My 2 year old loved the trucks and the little “dirt” balls inside. Perfect for a kid party, will use them for future cakes. I just wish they had an online option to do half chocolate and half vanilla. I did go in to request this and the approved, but the cake was all vanilla.

This cake was perfect for my 2 year old grandson who loves trucks and construction vehicles. He absolutely loved it.

Sweet and fresh. Love the traditional icing. The picture is the edible print kind which isn’t my favorite but this one was good.

The cake turned out really cute! The Bavarian cream filling was a little too sweet for us, but overall we were very pleased and would order another Walmart cake in the future!

The cake was great for the price point. Walmart bakery cakes give you more value for your money. But with this cake, I was expecting it to be taller than it was. It looked unusually shorter than any other cake I purchased from Walmart. Despite this, the cake tasted well and was designed as pictured.

I ordered a half chocolate, half vanilla sheet cake but received a fully chocolate cake instead. The design also did not match what I selected online or what was shown on my final order receipt—it appeared to be a completely different design. The printed image quality was disappointing. It looked like it had been split into two parts that didn’t align properly, and it wasn’t centered on the cake. Additionally, the corners were uneven and not level with the rest of the cake, which made the overall presentation look sloppy. Taste-wise, the cake and frosting were decent for a grocery store cake, though the cake itself was slightly rubbery, if you know what I mean. The frosting had a good level of sweetness, but the filling layer was overly sweet and a bit overwhelming. Overall, you get what you pay for, but I was expecting better accuracy and attention to detail with the order.

Ordered this for my sons 2nd birthday. He loved playing with the trucks that came on top. Ordered it to have a layer of Bavarian crème in the middle and it came without it. You can see in the photo that the cake was sliced as if they meant to put the cream in it but forgot. Was very dissatisfied because it seemed dry without it.

Cake looked like it was assembled by a toddler. The trucks weren’t even on the track and for a 9 year old, how upsetting to have to try and get over his cake looking like someone just didn’t care. The edible paper was not centered and falling off the back of the cake, the boarder was sloppy, also not centered and the edible paper was extending past it.

It wasn’t what I ordered at all I received a edible image ontop of my cake with a bulldozer and loading truck it didn’t look like this at all but it was to late to get a new cake as the party was the next day
