I ordered the chess resin molds, two to be exact. I only did a test pour to figure out the best way to use them. It worked perfectly; I was able to remove the resin easily. The chess pieces came out the molds easy, also.

Super fun turned out great
This was a super fun kit. I got it for my 11 year old daughter. What a great way to learn chemistry and math! We researched how to make the best set and the research pay off. This was only the second time she did a poor and the board and chest peace?? turned out amazing. The knights are her favorite peace??. The second set is still in the molds. So excited to see how they turn out.

Chess Pieces
The Silicone Chess Piece molds are great. I use a rack and pour in two steps to remove all the air bubbles. Highly recommend them.

Bad count for the checkers
So the checkers count per side is 12. Why does the mold only have 8? Making it very hard to get the additional parts to match on the subsequent resin pours. Now I have to order another set of checker molds. I have just poured the first full set of chess pieces and love them so far

Wish there was more
The kit is great but I wish there was another 16 PC chess set so I could make all the chess pieces at once instead of waiting for the first set to cure first and maybe add three to six more mica colors but other than that I think it is a great high quality kit .
