19th century Brits are full of wonder!
As always with the 19th century, British authors like Tolkien, Lewis and Chesterton, these guys have an insight full of life and wonder that is childlike and such a pleasure to read. The illustrations and photos of the handwritten letters are a plus!

This was a gift for a tolkien fan. Very different from his more well known works, but historically very fun. It is a compilation of letters not necassarily meant for publication, but so glad they did. Characters weave an unforgettable story we look forward to visiting year after year.

I love the book and the story. It was just shipped to me damaged. The back cover had been torn before it was shipped.
