It works to lift the saddle!
All of the sudden my saddle that I had used for several years on my horse started to rub hair off of her back near her hips. I ride western and she is an Arab with a short back. I simply could not afford to spend another couple of thousands of dollars on another saddle. And I had already spent a couple hundred on a special pad. All I needed was to find something to lift the back of the saddle off of her hips. The Lettia CoolMax Half Pad did the trick. It looks like it might be English tack, but I don't know for sure, and I don't care. It saved my pocketbook and more importantly my horses back!
