Love this girth and my 14. 2 Welsh Cobs like it too. Went from a simple Wintec dressage girth in a 22". I wanted a little longer so got 24", but it acts a lot longer than the Wintec due to the stretchiness. I am ordering a 22" and hope I don't need a 20 as they don't offer it.
I love the cushion of this girth & that it doesn't leave my horses sweaty under it if they only have a light workout. It has a lot of stretch to both the buckle connection & further inside so I think it's more comfortable for my horses. Spring-loaded buckles & lots of keepers to keep it tidy are cool too.
I have about 10 births for my Percheron X, this one being recently purchased and most used. My gelding sweats like a Sump wrestler in a sauna and all of his girths get nasty no matter how much they get rinsed and washed. The synthetic fleece ones harbor bacteria and fungus, smelling to high heaven with the potential to cause infections. The leather ones get soaked and require lots of specialized care so they don't become brittle and worthless. I switched to neoprene because of the comfort and ability to be more easily cleaned. A quick rinse after a ride is adequate most of the time, but I also use a product called Sink the Stink to really clean the neoprene. What really like about this girth is the level of padding and shape of the girth. It fits smooth and evenly without sliding or pinching. My horse is happy. I'm happy. Big win!
I had been using an ergonomic style girth but it was not well padded and very stiff. After reading the reviews and description of this girth I decided to try it. My horse LOVES it, right from the start. I love it too. Its well padded and soft against his skin, gives plenty of room around his elbows and is very well made. Keeps the saddle secure with no sliding. Very happy with this and would certainly recommend it.
Fits my horse extremely well and appears to be very comfy. The clips were a bit big for the holes in my dressage saddle but fit well with a bit of stretching. Overall great girth for the price! Also super easy to adjust while in the saddle!!
I bought this girth about a month ago to replace my fleece lined firths that were impossible to clean. I have been very happy with this new girth. It is easy to wipe down after each ride and looks nice as well. The memory foam seems to make my horse happier as well.
If I was a horse, I think I'd really like wearing this girth! Slight contour plus very cushy feel make for a good fit. I like the buckles that click into place. The only drawback (and hence four stars) is that it's really tough (read: impossible) to tuck the billets into the integrated keeper when tightening the girth while mounted.
My horse is usually a little cranky about girthing, however he was happy as a clam while girthing him up with this Lettia memory foam girth! My only issue with this girth is the top portion by the buckles is a bit narrow, I wish there was more surface space to protect the horse if the billets move. No matter, Its a very nice girth and I hope it holds up well!
I wanted an alternative to a leather girth plus my horse had lost some weight and needed a smaller size. This girth was true to size, I went from a 30" to a 28" and it was just right. My horse seems to find it comfortable. It does soak up sweat and hair sticks to the fabric. It's more difficult to clean than a leather girth. I've had it less than a month so I can't comment on durability.
Pro: My horse loves this girth. If he could say Ahhh I think he would. Con: After only 4 uses the stitching for the keepers has come undone. I re stitched it myself which was no big deal. BUT for 80 dollars this should not be happening so early in the game. If it happened two years from now I wouldn't complain.
