Level Bolt Smart Lock, Bluetooth Deadbolt, Works with Your Existing Lock, Keyless Entry, Smartphone Access, Works with Ring and Apple HomeKit

Works really well. Easy to install. I love this device since I get to keep my Schlage deadbolts and you can't even tell they are electronic or smart. Battery life is really good. I have an older home and the door frame swells a little with high humidity. On those days I would sometimes have trouble with lock/unlock until I added some screws to the frame to hold it better.

This was the best product available to retain the beautiful appearance of my entry set that features a lever styled door knob and dead bolt that share the same escutcheon. The Level Bolt has worked flawlessly with Apple Homekit.

Flawless for nearly 2 years, highly recommend. Have used August device prior which was first Gen product so larger and consumed more power. Level is hands down a better product.

It is a great product! It works seem less with Apple HomeKit and I love that it installs seamlessly into your existing lock!

Another great feature provided by WalMart , and unlike Amazon, they are not charging for this feature, or benefit. They even paid for the deadbolt! The other guys continue to raise prices, while reducing the quality, increasing delivery times, taking away the quality videos, only to replace them with videos that we could get for free, from FreeVee a week earlier, with no benefit to the Customer, and poor Customer Service availability. Thank you WalMart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own 4 level locks. We used them during hurricane ida and they were great as we were 2400 miles away and had to allow people into our home to use the generator and home appliances. We were gone for the entire 10 days of no power and anyone we wanted to, had access! My only complaint is one of the locks will not work from inside the home on wifi more than about 60% of the time. Other than that we love them!

It works! Must have the automating HomePod or a WiFi bridge close by.

Don't pair this with Apple home kit (now called simply “Home” because that's not confusing at all) if you do 1) you won't be able to pair with the Level App and 2) you won't be able to share the lock with other members of your household. (Unless you buy another device which you don't want or need that appears to be an always on audio surveillance device. Which Apple promises not to routinely abuse… again also remember to sign up for your share of the $95M settlement against them, if you don't they get to keep the money) If you do then disassemble your lock, factory reset it and use the level app, the app comes with some irritating limitations 1) you have to open the app and hold the button for several seconds to get the lock to activate (this is dumb I already opened the app I'm not going to press by accident). Theres no icon for the lock screen that I can tell 2) the lock has imprecise knowledge of state and the app only allows toggle so some day soon you'll be locked out at night with your groceries in your hand and the lock will refuse to unlock because it thinks it's already unlocked and the product manager in his limited wisdom refused to allow the ability to manually unlock. What will you do then? I spent 20 minutes figuring out that if I left and came back I could get the lock to work. If this weren't already installed in my door and mostly working I'd send it back for a full refund, and failing that I'd simply throw it in the can like the trash that it is. The reason it gets two stars and not one? It does mostly work. It's well machined and the install instructions are clear. But at the end of the day if it doesn't do what it's supposed to do it's worthless.

The seller sent me a unit that's been sitting on the shelf since 2019, it did not work, I had to do a warranty exchange with the company to get a working model. while I like the device, I would not buy from the seller again.
