Lever 2000 Original Refreshing Bar Soap, 3.75 OZ 8 Count

I have used this soap for years, a doctor recommended that I use this to take a shower before a surgery (along with a medical soap his office gave me to use on just that part). I've used it every since and that's been several, several years ago. I now live in a different city and I can't remember much except the soap LEVER 2000 original.

At first I was a little skeptical, but now I'm pretty much sold. Not only does this soap smell great, it also lathers and rinses excellent. I mean for five dollars and seventy eight cents for eight bars, I honestly don't think you can beat it. Not only that, the bars are actually pretty decent sized. I mean compared to other soaps I've tried in the past. In my opinion, it's definitely a great value for the money. So for anyone reading this, go ahead and give it a try. If you don't like it, you could always give it to a friend you don't like. Or drop it off at your local Goodwill. I mean they'll pretty much take anything. Welp that's my review. This was the soap that my grandmother used when it first came out. I think Lever 2000 bar soap is fantastic. It lathers well and leaves you feeling clean. Above all, it does not dry out your skin. Is it nostalgia or is it the soap?

Love this soap, cleans very well and washes off easily. No perfumes or loud smells, just the perfect soap. I like the aloe one even more, but it is hard to find and expensive.

Only body soap I use! Been using it for the last 18 years... Dermatologist recommended due to my sensitive skin %26 bad breakouts. Since then, skin has improved %26 cleared up so much. No more breakouts! Please do not discontinue carrying this soap! It's hard finding nowadays and out of stock most times. I was lucky enough to see there was a few left in stock.

The soap's formula contains no added perfumes or chemicals that would irritate my skin. I like the fact that it is not drying out my skin, which makes it great. I have sensitive skin, and the soap is an antibacterial bar that lathers well in the shower.

I like the soap because of its size and it is a great sense. It’s a good soap to use when you travel. It also lathers very quickly, which is what I like about the soap .

This is my first time trying Lever 2000 soap. It smelt okay from outside the package but when wet, the soap smells absolutely horrible. You can even smell a faint hint of the scent on you a few days later. Not to mention, it gives me rashes. But, putting the negatives aside, I absolutely love this soap. This soap truly helps with odor, lathers really well, and is one of the most dissolve-resistant soaps I've ever seen. It lasts a ridiculous amount of time. Also, it seems to be helping with my bumps and eczema. Also, I don't know what everyone is talking about with the soap cracking. Mine hasn't.

It doesn't smell bad, it just smells very perfumy and doesn't have that crisp ocean breeze type smell that the TRUE original Lever 2000 has . The soap is fine but I was disappointed because I wanted that nostalgic Original scent. It's NOT the original formula and it shouldn't say that on the label.

The scent of this soap has changed dramatically for the worse. It smells awful like cheap gas station bathroom soap. This used to be one of my favorite bar soaps but not anymore. Bring back the original scent because this definitely isn’t it and shouldn’t say so on the packaging.
