Lever 2000 Original Refreshing Bar Soap, 3.75 OZ 8 Count

At first I was a little skeptical, but now I'm pretty much sold. Not only does this soap smell great, it also lathers and rinses excellent. I mean for five dollars and seventy eight cents for eight bars, I honestly don't think you can beat it. Not only that, the bars are actually pretty decent sized. I mean compared to other soaps I've tried in the past. In my opinion, it's definitely a great value for the money. So for anyone reading this, go ahead and give it a try. If you don't like it, you could always give it to a friend you don't like. Or drop it off at your local Goodwill. I mean they'll pretty much take anything. Welp that's my review. Smells really good love the way my body feels after using it

I have used this soap for years, a doctor recommended that I use this to take a shower before a surgery (along with a medical soap his office gave me to use on just that part). I've used it every since and that's been several, several years ago. I now live in a different city and I can't remember much except the soap LEVER 2000 original.

It doesn't smell bad, it just smells very perfumy and doesn't have that crisp ocean breeze type smell that the TRUE original Lever 2000 has . The soap is fine but I was disappointed because I wanted that nostalgic Original scent. It's NOT the original formula and it shouldn't say that on the label.

This is my first time trying Lever 2000 soap. It smelt okay from outside the package but when wet, the soap smells absolutely horrible. You can even smell a faint hint of the scent on you a few days later. Not to mention, it gives me rashes. But, putting the negatives aside, I absolutely love this soap. This soap truly helps with odor, lathers really well, and is one of the most dissolve-resistant soaps I've ever seen. It lasts a ridiculous amount of time. Also, it seems to be helping with my bumps and eczema. Also, I don't know what everyone is talking about with the soap cracking. Mine hasn't.

I bought this... "Lever 2000 Refreshing Bars Original Perfectly Fresh by Lever for Unisex - 8 x 4 oz Soap $0.19/OZ" but received 8 x 3.75 oz. This is not legal in CT. I'm unsure if the law covers online purchases as was mine but there are signs (required by the law) in all stores in CT stating that if a commodity item rings up more than the marked price, the item will be free. Even if the CT state statute doesn't cover online purchases, it's still wrong. BTW, I've been buying the 4 oz for some time. Something changed recently. The attached photo is from a Walmart email. This soap is great, IF you get what you ordered. Rather than this, I got what is pictured below. Didn't realize it till I went to open a new one @ 5am

It seems like this soap is old…they have not sold it in boxes in a few years now, everything changed to a plastic wrapper, but the 2 recent orders were in the boxes and they smell like they sat somewhere for a long time.

The scent of this soap has changed dramatically for the worse. It smells awful like cheap gas station bathroom soap. This used to be one of my favorite bar soaps but not anymore. Bring back the original scent because this definitely isn’t it and shouldn’t say so on the packaging.

I’ve used lever 2000 since I was a teenager. They changed the smell a few years ago and I put up with it. It stung my eyes and smells like chemicals but I tolerated it. Now the last batch I bought smells even worse than usual. I’m not even sure how to describe it. It’s something like rotten vegetables that have been set on fire. I hate this so much. If they had any decency, they’d change the scent back to the original, but they never will.
