My son is around 54 lbs and 4'9", fitting well in size 6, while size 7 gives him room to grow. His brother, who is a bit taller at 60 lbs, fits better in size 8. They are also durable like a normal Levi material. The sizing is true to size and it has the expanders in the waistband!!
