I hope they continue to sell them and wish they offered more slim-style pants with snap or hook closures since my boys don't take the time to tie their shorts. My son is around 54 lbs and 4'9", fitting well in size 6, while size 7 gives him room to grow. His brother, who is a bit taller at 60 lbs, fits better in size 8. He was very happy with the length , they weren't too long that his knees were getting caught or too short that they were awkward . This style could be worn to church or just outside for play.
