Levi Strauss Signature Men's and Big and Tall Bootcut Jeans

Great pants,stretch a little, fit good. Last a long time, many washes. I don't buy any other jeans. Boot cut gives me room to move around and I might get some Cowboy boots to ride my horse. I might buy a horse anytime now. At my age, 80 anything could happen. LOL JF

Levi's Signature line is largely similar in appearance to Levi's regular jeans, just at a lower price point. Signature 501s are like regular 501s, Signature 505s are like regular 505s etc. The cut, seams, and feel are largely the same. I switched to Signatures after dropping a size last year and now happily wear a mix of 501s, 505s, and 511s. The biggest plus is that they look and feel like the regulars but cost much, much less. Regular Levi prices fluctuate much more than they use to (I'm 68, so been wearing them 50 years), but I'd guess that on average 3 pairs of Signatures cost less than 2 pairs of regulars. A huge savings. All this said, there are some noticeable differences that help explain the cost difference. The most important to me are: 1) the fabric itself is somewhat lighter, though it's still a true blue jean material. If I did heavy work in them everyday this might be a deal breaker as I suspect they're more likely to tear and wear out faster.. For me that's a non-issue. They hold up fine even when I work outside or get involved with projects that do involve tough wear. 2) The waist band very visibly curls up, although that doesn't seem to affect how they feel around my waist. I wear a normal-width belt so it's not noticeable. It would be an issue if you don't wear belts or want to wear them with belts narrower than, say, an inch in width. 3) Levi uses a somewhat different waistline patch with the Signature line, and on some the trim piping seems to be a bit noticeably different color and pattern wise. My guess is this is Levi's way to subtly let people know they're not true regular Levis. I don't find this especially off-putting because, well, the patch is largely covered by a belt. You'd have to be looking for a difference to notice them. All said, I'm happy wearing Levis that cost much less but have the same cut, feel, and appearance as regulars, the minor trade-offs notwithstanding. To me they're just Levis, and that's all that matters.

I purchased a pair of these jeans a while back. I immediately loved them. They fit perfectly in all areas and are very comfortable. No binding up or underwear either. They look really good. These are the only jeans I've ever purchased that I do not have any issues with. And they are affordable. I just bought 4 more pair. I'm a bit over weight and most jeans do not account for that in the shape and cut. The only pair of jeans I own that do not bother my back.

These pants are awesome with boots. OMG! Perfect classic fit for me, and great price. No need to go to the boot store to buy $80-$100. fancy jeans. These are great. "Oversight" is the nice true blue color and my favorite. The darker "Isley" is the other one I have and it's second only because it has what I call "that dirt wash". Ya know it looks like it's a bit soiled because they died it that way for the youngsters. Like guitars that come beat up looking but are brand new. Or new jeans with holes so one does not have to actually do the effort that it takes to get them like that! Rant over...Jeans great!

The Levi jeans were fine in appearance; however, I am not very pleased with my order. I ordered size 32x32 for a Christmas present. I received 32x34 which, unfortunately, is too long for him. Reordering is not an option since it wouldn't make it before he leaves.

I would say it depends on what you will use these jeans for and your build. I bought five pairs of these and only have two left. I purchased them for work and after a few weeks of wear they split on the back down the pocket seam. Maybe someone will have better luck with casual use.

These are Knockoffs. These are not real Levi's. From the fabric to the cut and stitching Everything about these Levi Jeans is Fake. I've been Wearing the Same 527 Levi Bootcut Jeans for 13 Years. I know my Levi's. 1. These have the Wrong Leather Patch on the Back. The Levi's Patch has the Pants Cut in the Lower Left Hand part of the Tag, so in my case 527, not present. The Patch also contains waist and Inseam in the lower right hand side of the patch. The Signature Levi's Strauss %26 Co Logo on the patch is a banner that runs across the top of the patch. it contains their Egyptian Draft Horse Logo in the center. It is also made out of leather not a compressed paper material. 2. All True Levi's have a red Tag on the back right pocket, This Tag is nowhere to be found on any of the Jeans I received. 3. Levi's Stamps the pockets with the Draft Horse Logo to ensure you know you got real Levi's, all the ones I received are blank. 4. Levi's inseam is one size longer and the Waist is a size smaller. In other words Wranglers Vs Levi's in Size EX. Wrangler W30-L34 is a Levi's W32-L32. These are a W32-L32 in Wranglers Size. So on me they are Loose and Short. 5. The 527 brand are low cut-waist jeans this means the space between the crotch and the top of the belt line is shorter then regular jeans, part of why the Inseam is longer then actually recorded on the tag. 6. Fabric Well that's easy Levi's are Denim. These are Jean Not Denim, denim is not Jean go buy a pair of Levi's you'll know the difference. The Stitching is also incorrect. 7. Levi Strauss and Co. Use a Logo of 2 Draft Horses from the Egyptian Empire as their Logo no where to be found on any of the pants I received. The only Pro that I see is that these cost half the price of real Levi's. They are Very Dry and uncomfortable. I have a feeling they will shrink in the wash unlike Levi's. I won't lie I wanted these to be real, Sad Part is they aren't. I will not post pictures of any of the things I noted just in case the Chinese Company that made these is keeping track. I don't want them to create Clones even though I know they can't match the stitching and fabric. If you want a knock off pair of Levi's these are a great price. As long as you can put up with all the downfalls and knowing you bought Fake Pants from a Big Box store. Just know if you are picking these up as a gift you are buying Fake Levi's

Ripped within 1 week. Worn twice and washed twice. Rips were found at both pocket sides. This was NOT worn for work. Went to dinner and wore them for work. Nothing excessive was done while wearing them. Extremely disappointed and felt as if I was either ripped off or the products were faulty. Either way, not happy at all. I used patches to have a little more use of it.
