Levi Strauss Signature Women's and Women's Plus Mid Rise 5" Shorts, Sizes 2-18

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Denim shorts with a little bit of stretch. The perfect cut and fit for middle aged women. The length and style are what I have been searching for. Great for casual wear or even doing a little yard work. The high rise waist is just enough for tummy control. No fear of belly bulge or bursting a button. The little bit of stretch allows for comfort and confidence.

I was pretty confident when I ordered these shorts since Levi's have always fit like they were made just for me. I was not disappointed ! These fit great, and are true to size -not the measurements in the ad, but if you wear a 12 then order a 12. I saw some reviews about the hems so that's what I looked at first. Both pairs of my shorts had wonderfully finished edges and the cuffs were tacked well. I washed them before wearing of course, and the cuffs came out just fine. I line dry all my jeans so I can't speak to any affects by a dryer. If you are thinking about it, buy these shorts !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have trouble finding a comfortable pair if summer shorts to wear. The fit has to be perfect and the material has to be comfortable. These Levi shorts have been a great fit. For starters the material is light. It's not a heavy jean material. It's so much lighter than any of my other jean shorts. Because of this, they are so much more comfortable to wear around the house doing my everyday activities. They are a slightly stretchy jean material. I have thicker thighs, and I hate when shorts cut into my legs. These are amazing. They don't cut into my skin. This makes them perfect to wear all day. Also around my waist, I don't have any muffin top from these. These have the normal amount of pockets. My phone fits perfectly into the back pockets, without sticking out too much. The tags inside the pants give the washing/care instructions. I haven't noticed any issues when washing and the shorts don't appear to shrink after washing/drying. These will be a great everyday pant to wear.

It has a very flattering fit. I thought with the stretch in the material it would be imprinting all the imperfections, but even the tummy section was a great fit comfortable fit. I actually wore it with a shorter blouse where I didn't have to worry about covering the tummy section. I am 5'5" and the length was like a mom's short and just right for me.

Nice seams and the depth of the pockets is acceptable. I like the color and the design is ideal for my liking. I also like the fact that it stretches even though it's a little bigger on me. Perfect length for my size plus easy to hand wash.

What arrived vs what I thought that I ordered looked quite different than the photo. I was expecting the shorts to look more Bermuda-style. The shorts that I received were not at all like the photo and the leg openings were wider. The quality of the shorts was fine but the overall design was definitely not my style or preference.
