This is all my Grandpa wore for over 60 years until his last days on earth. I had a good mentor and teacher and I'm grateful that I'm continuing in his foot steps wearing 501's. They go great with my cowboy boots and the sharp creases that I have on them.

I brought them for my brother, who is disabled. I missed that the 'originals' that I ordered are BUTTON FLY. Poor guy, he's complaining that the button HOLES are too small. What a trooper! I will get him a pair with a zipper and take a knife to the button holes (not while he is wearing them . . .).

The denim feels strong and premium, with a clean, timeless look that pairs well with almost anything. The fit is comfortable and true to the classic 501 style. After a few wears, the jeans start to mold nicely to your body while maintaining their shape. Great quality, excellent craftsmanship, and a staple piece for any wardrobe. Definitely a five-star purchase.

I ordered my usual waist size and added a couple inches to the length, wore them in a warm tub for about 30 minutes and kept them on until dry. They are almost perfect -- just a little loose and maybe a half inch longer than ideal, but still a great fit. I'm sure the more I wear them, they will continue to conform and become a favorite pair of jeans. Love the button fly, too.

At 60, I lost some weight and wandered to levi's website and rediscovered 501s. I love that the waist is a bit higher than most jeans, but not too crazy high. The denim is still the same weight and hold up super well and the button fly is better than zippers to me. And they are NOT stretchy denim madness! I re-discovered how much I like them so immediately ordered a second pair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants themselves are incredible. Sizing them can be kind of hard. I'm normally a 32 waist so I got rigid and modern black in a 34 with the intention to shrink them a bit. I washed them separately but in the same washer both washed on warm and air dried. The modern black fit perfect but the rigid ended up being a little too small in the waist. So same size, same shrinking method, different colors, different results. And they will not stretch back out. So just be careful when ordering and make sure they are nice and loose on your waist before shrinking. If not, exchange for a bigger pair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jeans, a little baggy in the lower legs. If you're going to shrink in a tub definitely size up an inch I. The waist and 2 inches inseam. I bought 33x32 and usually wear 32x32 but they shrank shorter than I thought. I may have them hemmed so that the leg is a little narrower. Good looking and good construction would buy again (but would get them a size longer)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been wearing authentic Levi's button fly Shrink to Fit for 60 years. Nothing else, and same size. These 3 pair I bought are inches longer than theyve ever been. Last pairs I bought was 2 years ago. Sizing should be standard. If process has changed you must adjust the sizing! Jeans arent cheap to end up with something you didnt order.
