Levi's Men's 559 Relaxed Straight Fit Jeans

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If jeans had a “reliable best friend” category, the 559™ Relaxed Straight Men's Jeans would win it in a landslide. These things are the denim equivalent of a pickup truck that starts every time, hauls whatever you throw at it, and never judges you for eating gas-station snacks for dinner. The relaxed fit is generous without looking like you borrowed your older brother's JNCOs from 1998, and the straight leg actually fits over boots without turning your ankles into denim tourniquets. Bonus: they're sturdy enough for real work but comfortable enough for couch marathons that accidentally turn into naps. Durability-wise, these jeans feel like they were forged in a factory that also makes suspension bridges. Pockets are deep enough to hold a phone, wallet, keys, and possibly your hopes and dreams. After multiple washes, they still look good and haven't developed that weird “sad pajama” vibe some jeans get. If you want pants that say, “I'm a responsible adult, but I also know how to grill,” these are it. Would absolutely buy again...possibly in bulk, like a sensible apocalypse prepper, but for denim.
