I have a space heater that I plugged into an inadequate outlet. The plug melted. I changed the outlet, and used this to replace the melted plug. There has been no excess heating since.

This plug replacement was delivered quickly and worked perfectly. I used it to replace the plug on a large, vintage, outdoor, lamp and once replaced I finally felt it was safe enough to plug into an outlet. It was so much fun to see this really old lamp come to life again!

It is an attractive plug and not too huge. Yes, it's a little bigger than a "regular" one but it isn't huge. My husband, who has done electrical work for years, said it "was so cute." :-) It did the job perfectly. The only thing I'd suggest is a reminder for non-electrical people to mark off the hot side and the neutral side (from when cutting off the old plug.) Apparently that makes a huge difference!

This saved me almost $400. My puppy chewed my cord in half that went to my shark vacuum and my husband bought this so that he could try and fix the cord and it worked! It was super easy for him to fix he had it done within five minutes and I am so grateful because as mentioned above, I did not have the money to buy a new vacuum great product.

This is a good quality valise style plug. It is a known brand name. Pay attention to the wire size range and don't overtighten the closure screw. The manufacturer in Mexico needs to clean or renew their molds as there are irregularities in the bottom of the cavity.
