Levoit Humidifier Classic 100 Blue

Great controls to control mist and lights. It helps us sleep and not snore! We've purchased and recommended this to our family. So glad it is not a smart humidifier as it is a lot less hassle to set up.

My mother is 97, one good eye, and arthritis in her hands. And she can manage this vaporizer by herself, although I discouraged her immensely! It works very well. It's very quiet and I got her pink because she's a girl.

It's very quiet. I love that it shuts itself off if it runs out of water. I put the bottom seal on incorrectly once; it didn't work of course, but it also didn't leak. Once I realized my error and fixed it, the humidifier was back on.

This humidifier was the second purchase we made for our household from Levoit. Having great experience with the water pitcher previously. It is used on the night stand in our master bedroom because it does get very dry and allergies are bad. Before purchasing this unit, we have a monstrosity from Honeywell that was hard to fill up the two tank each night as it had an large capacity. It was super loud as well making it more difficult to sleep with if running. Further from that, it really did not seem to really be doing the job well and wouldn't have realized it at all had we not opted to try Levoit again for the solution. More on this humidifier, it has a very small profile, clear tank so that you can see how full the tank is. If you choose to, you can use the night light which is really cool looking to view. Great for children or for a nightlight. I personally, do not use the night light feature. When I say it is quiet I mean you can hardly hear it at all, just the occasion 'glug' from the tank refilling the base and that is in no way noisy either. The mist is so much more effective than the fan based Honeywell "slinger" we had before. No, it is supposed to come with a cleaning brush to help you get in all the nooks and crannies but our didn't arrive with the cleaning brush. That is no bother though. If you fill the base with a water vinegar mixture, set and forget. Come back and clean the base with a cloth or paper towel. That's essentially it. The tank is a little harder to clean than the base, especially if you have mineral rich water. Same process as the base with water and vinegar and you should be okay. To remedy the need to clean the tank or base as often due to mineral or growth, I just use the water from the Levoit pitcher and I do not have to clean more than once per month with nightly use. I recommend this to anyone looking for an efficient mist, easy to clean, and QUIET humidifier. You will not be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few months back I decided to purchase an air purifier to keep the air in my house cleaner and rid it of dust. As much as I enjoyed it, I was constantly waking up with dry skin that peel and flake. Eventually, I came across this humidifier and thought this would be the perfect device to counteract the dry skin I was experiencing. Not only has this alleviated the dry skin, it has also helped with some consistent night time congestion I was experiencing. Without a doubt, I have consistently had the deepest and best sleep of my life! Especially during the dry and cold winters of Chicago, this has been a life saver.

Easy to clean and access all parts. Only had it a week so can't comment on reliability. Works well, only negative is it has to be filled every day.

It does a great job as a humidifier. It's really quiet except when it gurgles to get more water into the basin. I didn't change the water daily like it say BUT you SHOULD change the water daily! I got black mold in the water tank and the basin and white floating mold. It was gross. It was hard to clean inside the bottom of the water tank. I put in a cotton pad and a little water, closed it and try to shake and get the cotton pad moving over the bottom panel. It took a while I think I got it. I used a q-tip in the tiny crevices. Will change the water daily now, hopefully it won't happen again.
