LEVOIT Vital 100S-P Smart Air Purifier for Medium Rooms, 3-Stage Filtration for Airborne Particles

Didn't know how bad I needed this air purifier until the day after I got it up and running. My husband even mentioned how much of a difference he could tell it made. We loved it so much that we purchased 3 more for a total of 4 in our house. The 100S for a smaller upstairs area and 3 of the 200S's for the other larger areas of our home. They are amazing for the price! I researched for a week and Levoit gives you so much bang for your buck. Extremely easy to set up and immediately use. The app works well too. Not only does our home just smell better (especially after heavy kitchen vapors and smells) it feels cleaner and our allergies are non existent inside now. We have 2 dogs that live inside, cook a lot and live in a pollen mecca. I am annoyed with myself that I didn't add these to our home sooner.

This!!!! It has way exceeded my expectations. I suffer from allergies especially to dust. I also recently rescued two kittens. I am thrilled with how it purifies the air in my home. Plus the filter screen catches everything. I'll see if I can post a picture too. Also when I cook in kitchen it filters out smells like bacon. The red light comes on showing that it detects the smell while filtering.

My children have horrible allergies and this thing is amazing.I have two of these, one of which being the larger version. Both work well, are quiet, and easy to maintain. The app features are a nice addition as even when I'm not home it lets me know when my husband is attemtping to cook and it kicks into overdrive. Ha

Love these for our bedrooms, and they work great with the app. Makes me feel better for my kids health knowing they are cleaning the air. I wanted HEPA 13 because 14 seemed excessive, and cost is more manageable with the HEPA 13. I wanted levoit because it was a well-known brand, I would not trust an off-brand HEPA purifier or replacement filter. There are too many fakes out there.

The best thing about this air purifier is that it operates on relatively low watts but still blows hard enough on the 2 highest settings. Also, if you put a thinner filter brand in it, it uses even less energy. I found the filter it came with to not be to my liking as I would love to be able to remove the combined carbon filter (I may attempt to at some point). You could tell the thick filter was also adding some resistance to the air flow and the wattage use actually increased with it installed (I have a watt tester). Instead, I cut up some extra filters from Blue Air air purifiers that I have and used those instead, since they are true hepa H13 and allow this machine to run more smoothly. Blue Air is another low energy consuming brand that I have and that I also love, but I needed some air purifiers in a box shape, as well, rather than cylinder and Levoit is excellent. I am big on energy conservation in my home so that is one reason I like them so much. The only issue with these is if the power goes out and comes back on, these will stay off until you repush the start button. Some other brands, like Blue Air and my old Holmes will come back on automatically when the power does or when plugged back in. No big deal, I guess. It also comes with an app but I have not tried that yet. Basically, it is great. I also have the larger version of this as well, but like this smaller 100S one a bit better.

Generally good, but indicator behavior is difficult to understand. When you first start it, there's a color indicator that tells you current air quality. Sometimes, when I look at it, it's a particular color and that's fine. But most of the time that indicator is completely off yet the unit is still running.

This purifier does not detect any dust, smoke, or other pollutants in the air. We have had it for only a week and it is very quiet. But on the auto setting , it never registers any dust or particles though we shook out a dusty robe in front of it. The light stayed blue (lowest speed showing very pure air) rather than turning yellow or red. Speed never changed. So we let smoke out of the wood stove nearby to test it further. No change though it was obvious that the room was now filled with smoke! Which means unless we use the manual speeds, this machine stays on the very lowest setting. Not acceptable. Guess we will have to return it.

Says it works with VeSync, which is the reason I bought it. to confirm it does not work with VeSync. You get several time out errors even when you are not pressing commands through the app Now not only those errors, now the device goes offline and will not come back online. I've tried deleting app and reinstalling it, tried 5 time reinstalling the purifier and same thing. it will not stay connected to wifi. Contacting VeSync does nothing emails go unanswered with no help at all. wish I could send it back. terrible product and support

Wouldn't know because the driver that delivered it took it to the wrong address—-took a picture of the box in front of the wrong door. It took 5 phone calls to the Walmart customer service number because Walmart expected me to pay for the package, even though I never received it. The person who received it kept the package. Awful service
