I use these to make meatball subs. I toast it in the airfryer for 3 minutes. They are 1 weight watcher point and taste like regular white bread. They don't have a diet taste to me at all.
I am so thrilled that Walmart carries these low carb buns (hot dog and hamburger versions). They are so much less expensive than most low carb rolls, and the best I've tried. You really can't tell them apart from the "real" thing! So glad to have real rolls back in our Keto life!
I am always trying new Keto rolls or bread. I still crave bread even though a lot of people that do low carb say the cravings go away. I don't agree. They don't for me. I used these for sausage, onions and peppers sandwiches and the roll held up well. It comes pretty close to tasting like a regular hot dog roll. I really liked it. Especially because the carbs are very low. I think the price is good for being Keto. And I love that I was able to receive it the same day with my grocery order from Walmart.
This is the Best Low Carb Keto bread! absolutely delicious and great toasted, too! I put avacado, cucumbers, tuna, chicken and even just butter; substantial!
I like them a lot.. Great texture and flavor. Walmart ran out so I tried regular hotdog buns, and did not like them at all - doughy, and tasted unpleasant.
One of the most difficult aspects of my low carb diet was giving up bread products. Homemade keto breads.tasted like eggs. Commercial keto breads were either too mushy and tasteless or too pricey for my budget. Then along came Lewis Keto! The hot dog buns have substance and taste. They do not collapse around the dog and can be lightly toasted or grilled to add additional crunch. I a looking forward to grilling hotdogs this summer, thanks to this product!
Keto bread has come a long way! They are nice and soft. There is only a very small difference in taste. I used them for brats.
I love that there's beginning to be more keto-friendly options like this! Taste and texture virtually identical to regular buns. A little pricey, but I feel it's worth it in the long run for health reasons.
They’re okay, very chewy. If you’re serious about your diet, buy them; they do serve their purpose. If you’re just playing, don’t.. you’re gonna feel like they’re a waste of money. They don’t give you the same feeling as a regular hot dog bun as far as how it perfectly pairs with your toppings, melts in your mouth while giving your body that fuzzy feeling (If you know, you know) but again.. they do serve their purpose and I would buy them again. I’ve only had one, next one I eat I’m gonna try pan searing it in a skillet to see if that changes the texture.. even if it doesn’t give me that same feeling.. I would buy them until I find a hot dog bun with the same or better macros that tasted exactly like a regular hot dog bun.
I love that the buns are high fiber, and you don’t net a lot of carbs but they smell horrible! I couldn’t even eat them, ended up trashing them. I will not purchase them again.
