Taste Great!

Chris71 April 7, 2021

I am not going to lie, I thought for sure this was going to taste awful. I made a sandwich and honestly dreaded that first bite! Wow, this actually tastes great. It had a great texture and didn’t feel or taste gritty. I would never know I wasn’t eating regular white bread. I am so excited knowing I do not have to give up my bread on keto. It is pricey for bread but for me, it is well worth it in the end.

Best keto bread so far

Stef March 6, 2026

Better texture than any other keto bread we've tried. Light and fluffy. Doesn't have the aftertaste a lot of keto bread have. Like any keto bread, value for money compared to normal bread isn't great, but value compared to other keto bread options is good.

Thin but made nice sandwich! Good flavor, too.

my husband and I love this keto bread better than any other keto bread. we have tried several other Keto brands and they are tough in texture. Lewis is not tough at all. It tastes just like regular white bread. it is definite our favorite. My regular Walmart store has hard time keeping it on the shelf. it sells out too soon. maybe something can be done about that. we prefer the regular white.

Great for sandwiches!

Toia April 1, 2026

This is one of those really good breads once again that you can find that's low-carb. So far, I have tried this one in the Hawaiian one and I usually just toast them and make a really nice sandwich and they hold up really well in the toaster and the flavor is nice mild not overwhelming so it's very much a safe bread to try if you're just getting into the keto or low-carb bread or do you want to switch brands?

Amazing!!! I do very few reviews, but this blew me off my feet so I had to! I can't really tell any difference between this and regular bread taste wise. It tastes great, and not just for keto! Texture wise, absolutely AMAZING. It's so soft and luxurious feeling. I don't even know how bread can feel luxurious, but it's so soft and spongy, not like Great Value that's dry and breaks apart. It's pretty thinly sliced, which I don't personally mind because it didn't rip when I added partially softened butter, and more slices that way ha ha. I like Sara Lee bread, and I would say this is even better quality than that with how soft it is

This is the absolute best keto friendly bread that we have tried. It is now number one on our list we've tried many of them, but this one has the best flavor the best texture and is comparable to price with the other keto breads. I believe it would be worth your time to try it.

Disappointing texture

Debra March 31, 2026

Taste is good, but texture is on the rubbery side. I don't know how that's possible with a product like bread, but it's chewy. The taste is good for a keto bread, but I like the Better Goods brand better and it's less expensive, although it might be in terms of ounces. I think the Lewis slices are more substantial. In terms of price, all the low carb versions are ridiculously priced in my opinion, but if you're doing keto and want bread, that's your only choice, with the exception of low carb tortillas or making a bread version at home.

Only nature's own for my taste.

sarah March 5, 2026

I ordered nature's own. This was substituted without my knowledge. I would have done without. It is sweet and mushy, not at all like natures own. It may be a few pennies cheaper, but if I have to spend 6 or 7 dollars a loaf it better be something I like.

avoid at all costs!

anonymous May 29, 2026

Absolutely vile. After being on a low carb, glp1 diet, you'd think I'd be overjoyed to finally have some bread. Normally, I would be, but this stuff is absolutely discussing and tastes nothing like regular white bread. It has a weird rubbery texture probably from all of the fiber they ad to lower the carb count, but if that wasn't bad enough, the Taste will have you making shots with it directly to trash can. Anyone who can choke this down should get an award. I remember back in the early 2000's when Atkins became popular, several companies made sugar free, high fiber bread that tasted like REGULAR BREAD! it was awesome and we bought it all the time! What in the heck happened to that stuff? All of these low carb and keto breads now are horrible. Every one I've tried was disgusting. Better to not have it than gag on this stuff.
