It's pricey, but I figure it's better than buying a whole loaf of bread and then having to get rid of it because it goes bad if you don't need it all at once. This bread is worth it as far as having a great taste and the texture holds up whether regular or toasted. I can't stand having a weak bread that tears or rips when you put butter, peanut butter or even jelly on it. I do recommend it if you're like me and sometimes don't need a whole entire loaf at a time. As always, that's just my 2 cents! :)
I haven't stopped using Lewis bread since I first tried it. Very good but even better, I can buy half loaves that do not get hard before we finish the half loaf. This works great for us. We have used all their flavors. Seeds and grains bread is great. we love Golden wheat.
I've been buying this bread since I found it. I LOVE the small loaves that dont get stale before you use them up. The bread tastes great and is soft in texture. It really does stay fresh right to the end. This type (honey wheat) has a much better taste than their other "flavors," which I've tried. The others are just okay.
I love this bread! It has a very mild wheat taste... Speaking as someone who is not a big fan of wheat breads, I actually enjoyed this bread... And, as a family that ends up throwing away more bread than we eat, I love the fact that it comes in a half loaf!
I generally prefer the Lewis half loafs over other bread. I like my bread fresh and Lewis bread is always fresh. I don't always eat an entire full loaf of bread before it tends to go stale, that's another reason why I prefer the Lewis half loaves. Good, tasty, and fresh.
first time purchasing andthis really shocked me in a good way Im addicted to bread however I'm trying to cut back and stay in a caloric deficit I love the ingredients of this bread and the fact that I can have two slices for less calories than one slice of other breads got tired of having my sandwiches on one slice of bread I was very impressed with how fresh and soft it was
This is a nice loaf of bread for those that want bread, but not a regular size loaf. The only problem I had, was either the person that shopped for me because I used Walmart plus, or the person that delivered to me didn't put it in a separate bag and it got partially crushed so that you couldn't use it for sandwiches.
Honestly, this is the best bread so far and for it would be 2$ for a half a loaf of bread isn't bad. I wish they had the same brand a full loaf. Cause I bodies spray every single time the reason why I gave a four stars because I asked for 2/2 a loaf of bread. I didn't order any lopsided smash bread and I receive lopsided smash bread.
If you like very soft (think W*nder Bread) bread, this could be for you. Not bad, just not to my liking. It has very little wheat taste to it, and is REALLY "squishy". I prefer more whole wheat taste, and a much firmer texture. But, if you like a softer bread, go for it. I like the idea of being able to purchase a half loaf, but highly doubt I will buy this again.
this is my first time ordering this honey wheat bread. I was really looking forward to comparing it to other honey wheat bread that I've tried. however, when I got it home it was obvious that someone had squashed my bread. I refuse to serve mishandled food to my family. I want a replacement. this is not the first item I've had to return because of mishandling by an employee of Walmart. I want this item delivered right away with no charge to me.
