Upgraded my CachyOS Linux laptop and now I've got loads of room for my games and coding. It is plenty fast for Fallout and such.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lexar NQ780 is an SSD that offers a good balance of high capacity and affordability, especially for budget-conscious users. It is well-suited for tasks like gaming, streaming, and general storage. While it has strong read speeds in synthetic benchmarks, its real-world performance can be inconsistent, particularly with large file transfers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I've never used a Lexar M.2 before. It was super easy to install. It holds 2TB of data, which as a photographer is nice! The speed at which it transfers photos is accurate too at 7mb per second. Super fast! I had to put the M.2 under my GPU as it was the only other spot it could go, but it doesn't give off a whole lot of heat regardless, which is super nice. For such a small device, it's a very powerful tool to have in a computer if you need space. I am very happy with this SSD.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Lexar NQ 780 SSD for a while now and it honestly made a big difference in how smooth everything feels on my laptop. The read and write speeds are very fast and I can open large files, move data, and launch games without waiting around. My system used to freeze when I had many things open but this drive keeps everything steady and responsive. I also like that it has a single sided design because it fits easily in my laptop without any heating issues. The power control feature keeps the drive cool and stable even during long sessions. I installed the Lexar DiskMaster tool and it helps me track the health of the SSD and run updates with no stress. Overall this SSD gave me the performance I needed without costing too much. It is reliable, fast, and perfect for both work and gaming.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is wonderful! It speeds up my gameplay so much on a pc that I like to game on. Not only is the access good but it seems like it was built perfect for the capability I needed. I am so happy to have received this.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gave this to my husband for his computer we got the 2Tb NQ780 and the M.2 drive was completely compatible with his motherboard and super easy to install. The computer recognized it right away with no issues. Already dowloaded about 500GB of games, and they all load impressively fast. The packaging was sturdy, and the heat shield feels solid and well-made. Overall, I'm very satisfied,it performs exactly as expected
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a really nice solid state drive and using it in an ssd enclosure is nice for it to be used on the go and has good write speed and that it will be a very nice upgrade when your able to get a motherboard with a ssd m.2 slot to use in your new computer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product offers effortless installation, exceptional durability, and reliable performance, significantly enhancing gaming experiences and overall computer speed. The inclusion of a five-year warranty further underscores its value and quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SSD uses the older Innogrit IG5236 controller, paired with QLC NAND flash from Intel. This hardware combo looks a bit like there was some surplus inventory left and Lexar snapped up both at a good price, building the NQ780 from it. As host interface, PCI-Express 4.0 is used. Considering that this is a cost-optimized SSD, it's not unexpected that there is no DRAM cache available.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD performs as expected, hitting near-advertised speeds in both a USB enclosure and when installed directly on the motherboard. The only drawback was a temporary speed dip during a 1 TB file transfer, likely due to the drive reaching about 62°C. Since such large transfers are rare, it's not a major concern. I can't speak to longevity yet, but overall it's a solid, reliable drive so far.
