Razor has great balance and feel. I do a two pass shave and get excellent closeness. Looks great too.....
This razor was the smoothest shave I have ever had. I wish I had this 20 years ago when I started to shave everyday it would have been much more enjoyable when shaving. Once again this would be a great Christmas gift for any man this year. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
After using the Lexington collection Razor I am extremely impressed. Not only did it give me the closest shave I have ever had, but after a week of using I have noticed no difference in the cut. The razor itself is a solid construction and I am hoping I can keep for a while. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I use the same Fusion ProGlide razor as what was included in the kit. I knew what to expect with this razor and the quality its blades. This has to be the best way to shave without irritating your skin and while getting into the tough face contours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have used razors like this before. Nice and close shave. A nice compliment to a nice set. I think if the roller ball was a brown color instead of the orange color it would have looked more professional. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This was my first time to use a pivoting razor and my goodness was the Lexington Collection Razor the perfect choice to be my first! The Felexball technology allows the razor to effortlessly glide to every contour on my face. Compared to any other razor that I have ever used the Lexington hits it out of the park. I can honestly say that I will never use another razor again. If you are wanting to try a pivoting razor I suggest the Lexington Collection Razor with Flexball Technology be your first, I guarantee you it will not disappoint. The Lexington Collection Razor magically floats across your face. The pivoting design of the razor head allows it to bend and flex as it glides across your skin. This gives you a super-close shave without the worry of nicking yourself. Though I hadn't shaved in a week or so, I got a super smooth close shave with the razor. I thought I had a good razor from my discount razor club, but nothing compares to the pivoting abilities of this razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This razor is fine but not particularly special in any way. As with most, if you replace the cartridge regularly, I think you'll have a good shave with the rest of the shaving system. I didn't notice anything different in regards to its ability to adjust to "the contours of my face." I am now more interested in learning to use a straight razor with this system. The Gillette razor that comes with the gift set is good. With its flexball its able to contort into different shapes than regular razors. It still had a few issues getting my problem spots right below my jawline, but it did get better with practice. It has standard gillette replaceable cartridges, so those will be your main money hog going forward, but the razor itself will get the job done without much fuss. While this technology works well, the lexington razor handle offers little more than what you get with a $12.00 Gillette over the counter handle. The Gillette OTC handle is metal, slightly heavier than the lexington, and includes rubber grips to improve handling when the razor is wet. The major disappointments with the lexington is that they use the same cheesy plastic orange flexball, and they include prominent branding along the bottom of the razor. For 10 times the price of the OTC version, I expected higher end materials throughout the entire razor, and understated branding. This is all apparent in the photos, however this item was a gift from my wife (she's equally disappointed in the lack of quality in the product).
