Much better than what I expected for the price. The bits are heavy duty and look like they will hold up. Also, the case they come in is very well made and hefty. I would recommend them to anyone.
These sockets are awesome! They are exactly as expected and should last over a long time. The fancy case is nice if packing in a duffel bag. The tamper proof makes them usable for regular torx also so it is kind of a 2 for 1 tool.
Was needed to remove oil plug needed additional sizes for other projects
well made and the larger sizes not available elsewhere also fast delivery
Good solid product at a great price…
Works great
With how low the price was, I thought they might be too good to be true. No, they are excellent, and they're true! Each piece is perfectly sized and fit perfectly. I used some of the larger ones to do car maintenance - seat belt anchors use some of these fittings. I was able to remove and reinstall multiple seat belt anchors, which are made of very strong steel and often under very high torsion, with no damage to these sockets or the bits. Seat belt anchors will absolutely eat up cheaply made torx bits, as the soft metal will strip and bend against the stronger bolts. I have no doubt these will last for many more installations. Perfect!
On one hand I am happy these are available. On the other I wish they did not exist because the design is inferior to hex type cap screws. Car manufacturers just want to keep making it more and more difficult to work on your car and add all sorts of odd fasteners. Europe seems to be once of the biggest offenders. These tools allow you to work on your own vehicles but at a price of higher risk of stripped heads since these engage only a small amount unlike a hex cap screw. Aside from my rant these are good tools and worth the money. Buy them if you need a set.
Works great better than some hf stuff I got on the road what trash bent twisted into the scrap pile. Like this set so much got all the sets they offered. Got snapon proto SK and all the big brand but so far works great so got them for every tool cart if the break get lost oh well snap on you cry get mad spend more time looking for it than it's worth. Anyway good stuff so far .
The tamper-proof holes are too small on the smaller torx heads. To their credit, the company sent me another set (still the holes are too small), and they said they would look into the error. But that would mean retooling, so I'm unsure if this was really something they were going to pursue.
