So far so good. I have only had the refrigerator for about two weeks now but I have no complaints. I had it delivered then installed myself and it was incredibly simple. Seems a plenty spacious for food for myself and my son, could get a little pressed for space for a larger family but that's with any side by side I'm sure. It looks nice. Water filter/ice are doing great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Never thought I would love a refrigerator! This is so easy to organize my food. The doors close so easily. Always had the filtered water inside, but love it outside. It is counter depth and looks beautiful in my small kitchen. The side by side is great. I am 84years old and just finished remodeling my home!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying my LRSXC2306S. It has all the space I need, and it keeps my food super cold! It does not take a lot of power to run, which is great!
Bought this LG unit about 6 months ago and, over the last 20 years, we owned a two other counter-depth refrigerators: a GE and Whirlpool. While the Whirlpool was more reliable than the GE, it too had its issues: the ice maker (as usual) and interior space. As for the latter, this is where the LG excells by comparison. By putting the electronics outside of the refrigerator's interior (on top of the unit and in the front), it leaves the interior nice a square with few or no bumps intruding on space. The large door bins are also quite accomodating - allowing for large soda bottles and all of the usual variety things like salad dressings, soy sause and what not. While the entire LG's 23 cu ft is only slighly more than the Whirlpool, its design makes the space avilable much more usable. It is, however, a taller box that required us to alter the cabinet above to fit the unit into its designated space. While the LG is spacious inside, we miss the smaller second drawer (of the Whirlpool) that was useful for cold cuts, cheese and other frequently-used items. Secondly, it the refrigerator side could be a little colder. Currently, it's set to 33 degrees (its coldest setting), but things like milk would taste better if just a little colder. Secondly, the ice maker only just keeps up with a family-of-four's use. At times, it necessary to activate the "Ice Plus" feature to top up the ice storage bin. On the plus side is the exterior design - it looks great and the traditional handles are not missed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have several concerns with the new refridgerator. The refridg drawers open from the bottom of each drawer rather than the top. Sometimes it is hard to bend to open them. Secondly it would have been nice for the shelves in both the freezer and fridg be adjtable to accomodat high products.
Great but hate the ice maker. I've had the refrigerator for almost a week and the ice maker makes me wish I had never gotten it. The ice comes out shaved before you ever get cubes. It's the worst. Makes a huge mess. Other than that it's great.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge in December 2024 and are enjoying it very much. There seems to be so much more space in the freezer than our previous model. We enjoy having the water and ice on the door because we drink a lot of water.
The doors have never closed properly and no matter what I do they slam. It makes a lot of noises and they are particularly bothersome in the middle of the night. The icemaker conked out after a year needed to be replaced. Thank goodness I bought an Extended warranty that covered it.
The door alarm is so annoying, goes off after brief periods, & wakes others when used at night. The alarm would prevent me from making this purchase again. I have to repeatedly clean the exterior door diebto finger prints. It also measures a depth of 28.5", 4" beyond my standard counter tops. It makes very limited amounts of ice compared to my previous freezers.
Need to return it
